I already own the original Takara Buster Prime and although Buster is nearly perfect imo I am quite tempted by the APS-01 Striker Prime (Asia Premium Series).

What would you say is the better figure?

If you just need one Leader figure, Buster Optimus is already one of the best there is. Striker Optimus is impressive, I'll grant you that with his weaponry, not to mention the blades already coming with the Hasbro edition (the Takara ones have to be ordered separately).

I'd say Buster and Striker are equal in what they want to achieve, if you have the cash and room to spare, and don't mind a "double" (if anything, one is for RotF and the other for DotM) go for both!
