29 years old (as of two weeks ago). Been collecting since I first saw Mirage in a toyshop. Then had to get my dad to go back to the shop because his rifle was missing, and get him replaced with Sideswipe. :sad:

Why should kids get all the fun? I'm a G1 fan to the core, but the TF toys they get now are fantastic, so why shouldn't we buy them? And if anyone mocks you for it, ask them what their hobby is. Then point out what a waste of time and money it is.

Back in the olden times. Maybe around the 1940s or 1950s. Mickey Mouse movies were meant to be adult entertainment for the affluent. Now, in the present times, people think of them as kid stuff.

Back in the 1980s, TF toys are thought to be kid stuff.

Now, TF toys are serious adult toys.

Definitely not!! I'm 38... I have a 13yr old Daughter who enjoys my collection.. My collection takes over an entire room of our house (it's around 800). My friends think it's a hoot to look at all the 'bots. And I still get Transformers as Christmas, Father's Day, Birthday, etc... You are never too old and those who think they are, are the ones to feel sorry for.

yeah! donot the age stop u from doing what u like! if ur friends laught u should not care, its what u like, not what they like, and if ur girlfriend think its childlish, then shes not a good girlfriend, girlfriends should like u no matter how u are (unless u turn gay, no offense), im 12 and im a boy and everybody says im too old to play with toys, to heck with em!!!! as i said its wat u like not waht they like! i do play with my transformers too! i have over 45!

If you like them, just buy them. I don't buy them anymore personally, but that's because I don't really have the room to display the ones I do have. I do buy nearly everything else Transformers, though, which leads me to this.

Because Transformers are primarily a toyline, if you're an adult and one of your friends/spouse sees you buying something relating to a kids toy, they'll probably knock you for it.
So if you're going to sweat over buying a toy, you may as well sweat buying a Transformers t-shirt, comic or DVDs.

If you like Transformers stuff, just buy it and if your friends knock you for it, that's their problem. You can always point out you might think what they like is dumb, but you're not an ass like them to make your opinion vocal. In other words, don't worry, be happy.
