Why was it that Skorponok was repeatedly hammered with gunfire and missles and whatnot and only lost part of his tail, while the same thing happened to Bumblebee and he lost most of his lower torso? I recall hearing something about a forcefield, but it was dismissed. Or am I missing something?

I though bb had a crapload of building fall on him aswell.

scorponok was hit by human missiles, BB was hit by starscream's missile.

Starscream > humans. The movie already established that.

I dunno how you missed it, because right before BB got trashed, Ironhide and Rachet (or maybe Jazz) yelled: "It's Starscream!" and then lifted that bus to try to block the shot.

Scorponok was hit with the cannons from the AC-130 gunship, Thats what finally tore him up.

what movie were you watching..... it wasnt a bus it was a furby delivery truck
