Motto: "I-I'm sorry.. I-I'll be going now.."
Weapon: No Weapon
[color=deeppink]I can't exactly number them, but I sure can list my top 10!

Transformers: The Movie (Marvel\Toei\Sunbow\Hasbro) - It's a brilliant action\adventure cartoon. The voice acting is decent and the dialogue suitably punchy for a kids movie. The animation is extremely good throughout (with exception of the Junk scene), with excellent line-work and high frame rates, although it does suffer from some colouring errors. Story-wise is flows at a fast pace and manages to remain coherent without becoming confusing. Also, as a point of interest, it is the first anime movie to my knowledge to be made specifically for a western audience.

Robin Hood (Disney) - Made during the 60s\early 70s period, which I still think is Disney's high point. Fluid, expressional, high-frame rate animation which has the "sketched" linework that are prevalent in Disneys work at the time (see Sword in the Stone, 101 Dalmatians, Aristocats ect). The story and dialogue are really fun and doesn't loose impact, even after several watches (which is lucky, because we all know kids like watching the same cartoon a lot). In particular, the voice acting in Robin Hood is awesome.

Sword in the Stone (Disney) - I love this movie for all the same reasons I love Robin Hood, even though in the process they ransacked one of Englands most cherished myths.

Snow White (Disney) - I shouldn't have to explain why. You've seen it and if you haven't - you're a fool.

Whisper of the Heart (Ghibli) - The stand out feature of this film has to be the storyline and dialogue - it's chraming, funny and beautifully sentimental. It does suffer from Ghibli studios pitfalls (overly familiar character design, massive drops in frame-rate), but has all the other hallmarks that make Ghibli great (wonderful line-work, all beautifully coloured with plenty to look at in the background). I chose Whisper over a lot of other Ghibli movies because it is a much more subtle title, that allows you just to enjoy the characters and the storyline.

Pom Poko (Ghibli) - Why Pom Poko? Pom Poko is a gem among Ghibli films - it delivers one the studios favorite themes (nature and mans place in it), and delivers it in with a dazzling display of humor and thoughtfulness. The ending is perfectly executed (I won't expand for fear of spoilers) and never fails to have the intended effect.

Rupert and the Frog Song (McCartney) - Yes, it's 13 mins long. I loved this as a child and it's still a joy now. There isn't anything inparticular I can hark on about it other than it's a great little animation.

The Triplets of Belleville (Diaphana Films) - It's great to watch a stunning piece of animation that remains almost entirely without dialogue. It's a highly stylish, very funny film that just oozes fun.

Toy Story (Pixar) - I love and loathe this film. I love it for the outstanding piece of work that it is, for the wonderful character design, the hilarious dialogue and the not-too predictable plotline. I also hate this film - celebrities (and their use as a sales point for a movie, especially in animation, where the vocals are so important) should stay well clear of cartoons - I'm tired of "oh look! There's [insert name] playing a squirrel! It's it funny!?". It does my respect for cartooning no good.

Urotsukidōji : Legend of the Overfiend (Manga Entertainment) - Yes, it's a hentai title, but many of us of a certain age watched this movie almost as a "rite of passage". Watching this movie is like seeing a train wreck - horrific, but you still look. As a movie, it's dreadful - the animation is poor, as is the sound and voice acting (even in Japanese), but you can't ignore it's place in anime history as a hentai title that went mainstream.
