So suppose Primus/Unicron/The Quintessons/Hasbro descended from the heavens and gave you the power to create your own Transformers cartoon. You could use any animation studio you wanted, have it run for as long as you wanted, use whatever type of animation you wanted, whatever kind of story you wanted and whoever you wanted as the cast (provided they were still alive of course). What kind of cartoon would you make?

HARD MODE: It must be an original story and original universe, so no continuations of other stories, adaptations of comics etc.

I would keep it small and intimate, in terms of cast and story. Like season 1 of Beast Wars was. Maybe 5 or 6 characters on each side, fighting over 1 single purpose, whether it be possession of energon, seeking a certain artifact, or whatever else. I have had ideas regarding The Dinobots and Predacons being on a Predators-like planet, just fighting it out here and there, while Grimlock and Razorclaw engage in a psychological game of tactical one-up-manship. Or something like that. I would use their G1 comic personalities, in which they were both rather smart and cunning warriors, instead of the bumbling dolt Grimlock was and the savage animal Razorclaw was portrayed as in the cartoon.

I'm not sure which kind of animation I would use, probably old school animation like Animated had. Or maybe the cel type that Devastation will have.

If I can't have my own original story, I always wanted to see the original Marvel G1 comic in cartoon form.
