DIGIBASH CHALLENGE Round Table {Contest coming soon!}:!:

Got a great pic of G1 Op or BW Megs? Whether it's 2-D or 3-D it's welcome as is any other form of art outside the custom figure world.

DIGIBASH CHALLENGE Round Table {Contest coming soon!}:!:

Postby Cycrolus » Fri Nov 23, 2007 8:18 am

Ok so I've noticed some friendly competition between all the digibashers out there and realized this was a must! So for the first time this is a challenge for all the digital guru's out there.

The piece will be selected by the first person who posts on here saying they want to pic it (NON COMPETITORS ONLY!!)

We will also need 3 judges who are not competing.

As for the theme please select something that is within reason, recoloring the entire g1 cast is not. 1-3 subject is good enough. We could have them in the same scene, recolored, special effects etc.....
Anyhoo good luck and let's have fun.

In the other thread, I really liked seeing transformers spliced together into new characters, so how about transformers spliced together with non-transformers characters?

Hmm that would be cool.

Ok we need someone to make an official claim to what we are doing. Just lay out the guidelines. I'm competing so I don't want to influence too much.

Holy crap someone picked this up again! I really want to get started on this but noone seems to be giving us a solid concept. I really like the superheroes/tfs that would be fun. But I'm leaving this open to a non participant to call the shots. COME ON ANYONE???

I would like to see the Marvel Legends crossover personally ... but again, my skills at photoshop are next to none, so I could judge if you would like.

I like the Superhero/Transformer idea! Maybe we could use photos of toys from the Seibertron gallery, find decent photos of some superhero toys, and combine the two. A Superman/Starscream, for example.

Image

Albeit, Mega Man isn't a Transformer, but you get the idea.

Sounds cool, but I wouldn't mind doing cartoon pics. Then we could get some awesome pose. Either way, we could choose one toy and have everyone pic their super hero, or we could give everyone free range. you guys pick.

Well that's kinda what I was thinking, recolors on toys are a pain in the ass. But I'm leaving it open. I need the input of all the contestants, what do you guys want to do?

As of right now the them will be transformers as superheroes.

I'd like to Judge if there's still an opening.

Transformer Superhero. Sounds like a cool idea. I suppose it could be something like, Pick a picture of your Favorite TF. It can be a toy or a Cartoon image, and digibash it into your favorite Super Hero.

The TF must end up looking like the Super Hero of Choice. If its an obscure Super Hero, like Night Trasher from the New Mutants for instance. A pic of the Super Hero or link to one would be appreciated. So we know what your digibash is supposed to look like.

Hows that?

Yeah, I am, but I'd rather see other peoples attempts. Still I might just do one for the heck of it. Even if it can't be judged obviously.
