Tigatron wasn't a basic. he was a deluxe.
I didn't know that. Kind of tiny for a deluxe. I guess then I don't have a favorite Beast Wars Basic, as I don't own any of the molds as I didn't like any of them.
Caelus wrote:Scarem - In honor of board tradition I have to mention him. A horrific B-Movie mishmash of blades, saws, and glowing red eyes, he's the Transformer that ate Chuck Norris's beard (after Chuck Norris had eaten Chester the Cheetah).
Razorclaw - He makes the list for his razor claw. The big one with the retractable spikes. It's disproportionately fun to play with.

have to give it up also for the TM & TM2 basics. these 2 simply rock, and they woulda rocked harder if they were not Preds. both of these are sooo fun to play with, and both are pretty solid AND stable in both modes, something most Beast Wars toys are not known of.

yup. and one of the best crab-formers out there (aside from Rampage). very solid for it's size. cheap to get also.

Someone is selling all of the basics, and ALOT of the beast wars figures for verycheap so i was thinking of picking some up... He's also selling beast machines figures too, but I'm not a fan.

if they're for cheap, go get them.
but you have to make sure that the joint condition of the toys are tight, since these run on ball joints.
also, in the case of Transmetals, make sure that the chrome quality is excellent since loose TMs often have cracked or chipped chrome.
depthcharge isn't a basic I love him though, only gripe i havae about him is that third leg...Blurrz wrote:Depthcharge.. and Terragator

There were alot of good deals, so people jumped on it quick, that's why most of it is on hold.

WOW.lots of good toys there. i'm suitably impressed by the MISB Optimal Optimus, he's selling it at retail, considering that this toy should have have marked up already given the time from its original release.
SephM wrote:I actually enjoyed a few of the Beast Machines Toys though im still out to get a Jet storm, Megatron (head) and maybe Tankor. But as for the ones i own, well i really enjoyed Thrust and Blast Punch Optimus Primal. Both were accurate to the show and looked cool to me, also i Enjoyed T-wrecks even though he is Beast Wars megatron repainted ( t-rex)as i like that color scheme for the toy.
For Beast Wars themselves, i really Enjoyed AirHammer and Terrogater ( though this was my friends toy) as they were some of the better fuzors. Also Polar Claw was an awsome toy ( again a friends of mine). I really enjoyed the two Beast wars Combiners both Magnaboss and Tripredacus. Cybershark transmetal was awsome as well( another i did not own but had fun to play with).

Wow, there is a lot of stuff on that list I want, at prices I'd pay, and half of it isn't on hold.
Just can't work up the nerve to mess with Paypal again (bad experience with ID theft).
Edit: Still, my wife was wanting ideas for things to get me for Birthday/Christmas/Anniversary, and the list of stuff I want comes to less than half the cost of Reissue Skylynx...
Edit II: I'm going for it dammit; half dozen BW TFs > G1 Skylynx.
Megatron the Great wrote:Even though it was released during Robots In Disguise... I like Air Attack Optimus Primal.
He has a great amount of Articulation, in both modes, features Gary Chalk (The voice of Primal in the show) on electronics, and has a paint scheme that is close, if not identical to the show.

Magnaboss is a cool combiner, and i'm currently looking for the Takara version, which has red-painted face and more little details compared to the Hasbro version.

Arguably the best TF figure ever! I love Beast Machines, not all the toys were great but on the strength of the show I had to get the entire cast and as show accurate as possible:
Yours AK

zemper wrote:cool! please tell us what are you getting. if i lived there i'd also probably go for it; the prices are really good for MISB vintage Beast Wars toys and the selection is great too.
