The movie car's had a plastic brake cover to mimic the "big brake" look of the concept camaro.

Sorry if that doesn't takes away from how amazing it was to see it, haha. They've been making more of this concept design, they had those 3 that they gave away when the movie came out. I already figured it wasn't the REAL one from the movie, but still.

You'd think they would have revealed the actual camaro for late '09/early '10. Its all over auto websites.

Because it's old news. Its an 06 concept so its nothing new. Can't wait til the reveal of the production challenger in 2 weeks.

Exactly. I think the removal of the crosshair grille on the production model makes a huge difference in the aestetic.
I jst hopw it lives up to the legacy it left, and the engine up to expectation.
And heck, mayb we'll get a new remake of Vanishing Point.

Here's a comparison pic, based on three photos I've taken in the past year. Yes, the one at NAIAS was a slightly altered concept Camaro (but honestly, how many people at the show would realize that?).
