I had a leader Megatron back in july. I transformed him once and the electornics went kaput. Replaced the batteries, but I figured somewhere along the way (considering the batteries are in the tail, the the electronics are 4 hinges away) the wires broke. I finally got a new one a few weeks ago but now I am afraid of transforming him and loosing the lights and sounds.

Has anyone had this problem, or am I being paranoid. Is there anything I can do?

I've had mine since the first (or second, can't remember) week of June and his electronics (including battery life) are rock solid and still work to this day.

Perhaps you accidentally pinched a wire during transformation or something. It can happen without you even knowing it.

If you know what you are doing, you could always open your first Leader Megatron up and see what is going on. If you know what you are doing of course.
