I've always been an on and off member for years, get caught up with life etc. Did have a fun trip to Yellowstone last year. Soooo many grizzly bears. And wolf puppies.

Yeah it was beyond great. Sadly I really needed it, health scare a few months earlier (I'm fine it was a false alarm) and the same day that happened I found out that one of my best friends for 23 years had committed suicide... Still struggling with that.

Some of you lot have had it pretty rough, hope things are improving for you fellas!

I've just had work and adult stuff cutting into my free time. I do tend to lurk the forums and basically read the TFer news when published here.

The back to back combinations of Trump vs. Hillary, then the four year shitshow of trump, then Corona basically burned me out of social media and the 'net in general. I took a massive step back. Its been great for my stress and real life relationships.

Also, my youngest son has borderline special needs. Extreme ADHD and emotional processing disorder makes a massive requirement of my time (and damn near destroyed my marriage, US big pharma can eat a giant back of goat genitals) so I've been quite focused on all that happy adult ****.

Not to mention, my love for my fandoms has been plummeting in the wake of creative directions I just don't care for.

The Transformer movies have burned me out. Bumblebee was good, but Rise of the Beasts was another dumpster fire. The IDW comics ended, and I just can't get into the new one. I'm only interested in the G1 styled toys. My kids never got into Transformers, so its not something I can share with them.

On the Star Wars front, well, need I say anything? Disney seems bound and determined to bury it in the ground. Honestly though, when they killed the EU, I never really got over it.

So yeah. I lurk. I read some news here and there, but I don't really post anymore. I've all but abandoned Facebook and Twitter. I read a lot nowadays, and just hang out with my family.
