Saw the 35th Anniversary figures at my local Wal-Mart today. Gotta be honest, the Cel-shading actually doesn't look as bad as I though it would on Prime, but it's still not great in my opinion. Definitely going to pick up Bluestreak and Soundblaster, but has anyone else noticed Soundblaster's paint being a bit sloppy/fuzzy? Like, the Decepticon badge was almost covered with the silver on multiple copies that I saw

Just ordered Ratchet. Honestly, hunting for TFs is an exciting thing for me, and I have 3 Walgreens in town, but for some reason I didn't think I should leave it up to chance, not with this figure.
As for the 35th anniversary figures, the display is up at my Walmart, and I was able to check it out. I thought in-hand cel-shaded Megatron looks better than the original Siege voyager, so I picked up one. Passed on Prime and the others. I thought about Blue Streak, but I'm going to pass. I would much rather have a comic-accurate blue Blue Streak. I did notice that the display at my store had a bunch of Brunts. Like 8 or 10 of them.

I got an email from TFSource letting me know the final wave of Siege Micromasters (Soundwave Spy Patrol 2nd Unit and Battle Patrol) is in stock and ready to ship! I just wish they'd put up the final Battle Masters too. They still have no listings for Rung or Singe (and neither does Hasbro Pulse). What gives? They've got the rest of the Battle Masters up on TFSource. I've got Crosshairs, Spinister, Apeface, and Astrotrain preordered on Hasbro Pulse, so Battle Masters Rung and Singe are the only Siege figures left that I haven't secured. I hope I can find them at retail, even though distribution of any Battle Masters beyond Wave 1 has been trash in the U.S. Seriously, I saw Wave 2 Battle Masters on the pegs maybe twice this whole year, and never did I see Wave 3. I had to order Smashdown and Caliburst online from Amazon. Even the Micromasters had better distribution, with only Wave 2 being a little scarce in my area.

Passing on Ratchet in case he gets an Earthrise figure but at least I'll still have a version of the mold when I pick up Crosswise, also means one less headache of looking for an exclusive or overpaying.

Have we seen/heard anything about Apeface's Amazon page disappearing? Like anything from Hasbro or even Amazon? Because I have Apeface pre-ordered on there, and haven't actually gotten any notification saying it's cancelled, but I'm also worried they may end up just not sending out copies to people who pre-ordered with them

I wouldn't be too worried yet. This happened before on something transformers that I pre-ordered from them, but I don't remember which one. The page was eventually restored and I ended up getting whichever one it was on time. I would keep an eye on the ship date (mine says November 15th release, arriving November 17th.) If they miss that date, then I would pre-order from Hasbro Pulse if you have a premium membership, or add something else you would end up buying anyway to get above $70 for free shipping.

Alright, fair enough. The only other time I've ordered anything from Amazon was Punch/Counterpunch so I was just concerned, but thanks for the quick reply

I have Singe in the mail from an Ebay seller who also has Rung but I already have Rung and Spy Patrol 2 on pre-order through Collecticon Toys. Rung would be cool to have two of so I can keep one in each mode so I might hit up the Ebay person again.

So THAT'S where all the Siege Voyager Optimus Prime figures went! They sure haven't been on store shelves much at all this year!

Got Ironhide down to tinker with Ratchet and there are more differences than I originally thought.

Exclusve Transformers WFC Siege Bluestreak Available Online at Walmart.ca
- Motto: "'till All Are One"
While WFC Smokescreen and Prowl have been rather easy to get due to their non exclusive status, Transformers Siege Bluestreak is that one Datsun that some Canadians feared not getting (at least not for cheap). Well, the toy is now up on Walmart.ca for $29.99, which is the standard price of deluxe toys in Canada (it comes out to $23 USD). For those wanting all three, Prowl is rather easy to find at both Toysrus and Walmart stores in Canada while Smokescreen is still available at Toysrus.ca.

I feel that Ratchet wears the mold better than Ironhide. Glad I made the Walgreens hunt.

While I don't like Rung as a character at all I can definitely appreciate the uniqueness of his mold and the fact it came out in Siege, of all things. Still totally planning to sand down his face and turn him into protoforms/stasis pods.

Thats just mean, what did the first Transformer ever (in IDW ver 1 at least) do to you

Still, an awesome plan for a custom, it'd be interesting for hasbro to make protoform toys at one point for army building. Just call them blanks and be done with it.

Different strokes for different folks
I had no problems with him and I liked him being Primus, especially since other then the ability to regenerate (a bet limited) and creating matrixes, he wasn't specially powerful which worked well with what Shockwave was laying down in the other book about the Primes as he created them in a weird bootstrap paradox. Yeah though I can understand some not liking him.
