Now all we need is for them to do the same with AHM and release what Furman had planned for his series.

Hmm. I had no idea that was taken out. I liked it. Anyone know what the problem was. The IDW forum has 25 pages i am hoping someone just knows. :D

Megatron: Origins is still for all intents and purposes in continuity,as is AHM.

Denton only asked what would the feeling be if M:O was taken out of the main continuity. That 21 page thread quickly degenerates, tries to get back on track before degenerating again. No outcome is decided, and I am sure that if Megaton: Origins or any other TF story was pulled in or out of the main continuity, that IDW would let it be known.

Instead of taking things in and out of continuity how about making sure everyone is on the same page and people's creative egos are kept in check.

One would think that would be easy enough! Is there any solid reason why Megatron: Origin shouldn't be kept in continuity?

I'm still intrigued to see where AHM is going. I'm wondering what kind of explanation will be presented for the Seekers alt. mode change. Normally, it wouldn't have bothered me as I'd have just put the difference down to artistic representation. After all, the specifics of the alt. modes haven't really had any impact on the story. It's only because the first page of AHM #1 showed the Seekers with their E.J. Su robot modes that it makes the change that much more obvious.

Also intrigued by what's going to happen to Megatron. I presume that at some point he'll lose Earth but will he lose the Decepticons? I'd quite like it if they turned on him but then it was Starscream who helped Megatorn keep his seat in power.

The Seekers arent the only ones needed clarification. Soundwave's minions are now giant cassette tapes. In Devastation Ratbat had a Cybertronian mode in AHM he looked like a giant toy version of himself.

True enough.

I think I read (on IDW's site?) that Ratbat's alt. mode in Devastation was a [real world] Sony communications device (here's a link to Su's DeviantArt: http://ej-su.deviantart.com/art/Ratbat- ... -104748256).

I think I also read something from McCarthy that said Ratbat is now a cassette "because Soundwave is a cassette player". That explanation doesn't satisfy me, really!

Ok, that one actually makes sense. In Spotlight: Soundwave Lazerbeak and Ravage are giant cassettes matching Soundwave's Earth mode. If his other minions like Ratbat were not with him on Earth at the time then it would explain his different alt mode until he re-unites with Soundwave.

Me too. I love the series, but it doesn't seem to be really headed anywhere.

Best idea I've heard (read) in a while.

Make it so, IDW!
