Wondering when the Chines new year starts and when it ends.
Wondering how many of these overseas China region countries celebrate the Chinese new year and go on vacation for almost one Month. Guessing Hong Kong, Taiwan, N & S Korea, China, Thailand, Phillipines, Maybe Japan and so on.
Heard That the whole China region's work force goes on vacation for 1-4 weeks.
Just worried that if the 3rd party TF toys that have release dates for late November and December. If their not ready for production and get pushed back toy January. This basically means February, As all of that China region shuts down and goes on vacaction for almost One month.
Things overseas sure are weird. Think it's odd that everyone has to go on vacation at the same time. Think it might be better If workers took turns like they do in most other countries. Taking turns, Means the production doesn't have to stop for a month.
Can only assume, That the almost one month China region Vacation also effects the overseas piers, shipping docks and those container huge boats that need to get loaded and sailed towards the USA.
Hoping that TW Fort Max, TW Astrotrain and X-T Megatron keep their initial Late November, December release dates and don't get delayed. As It's no fun waiting till January due to the Chinese new years Montly work force vacation thing.
Chinese New year is bound to cause release date delays for 3rd party figures in January.

If the Chinese New Year had never halt production for every other products (hey man, 90% your electronics are made in China), what makes you think it'll affect ONLY 3rd party toys?
And for the record, 2015's CNY is on February 19th.

Did some quick on-line research on this.
The 2015 CNY starts from Feb. 19 to Feb. 25, 2015. ... These activities will end Jan.
So it looks like it's barely a One week holiday.
Did more reserach, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_New_Year
Chinese New Year is celebrated in countries and territories with significant Chinese populations, including Mainland China, Hong Kong,[3] Macau, Taiwan, Singapore,[4] Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mauritius,[5] Philippines,[6][7] and also in Chinatowns elsewhere. Chinese New Year is considered a major holiday for the Chinese and has had influence on the lunar new year celebrations of its geographic neighbours

China,HK,Macau,Taiwan and Singapore do great drop dead sales during the Chinese New Year which follows the Moon's movement etc unlike the Western Calendar. Among those 5 countries I've been to, these guys follow to the letter the 1 week holiday ( the toy stores are actually closed in China and HK).
So don't worry about the delays for January on the account of the Lunar New Year. It's the company not being able to meet the demand output thaqt causes the delay.

Who cares ?
Let the factory workers have their little two week Mardi Gras style celebration. They work hard all year around and maybe make a buck an hour. This is their time to spend with their families. Let them enjoy it.
