This reviewer is smarter than you give him/her credit for.

He's being sarcastic, his little jab at "Starscream being a monkey" is too clever for someone who everyone thinks is dumb. He's just acting like an idiot to get his point across.

I guess the whole thing is a subtle jab at the whinning fandom and the subjectively bad Movie designs.

See, you can tell someone something about something a million times over.
But doing something to make them stop and think WHY you're doing it? ...They wind up coming to the conclusions themselves... THEN they get what you wanted to convey.

I'm going to go transform Megatron now. And by Megatron, I mean wrap a sheet of aluminum foil around this chicken I can't finish.
