I've been thinking about how I discovered this site recently. My dad told me about it (why he was looking at Transformers websites, I have no clue) way back in 3rd grade. I've been coming here ever since.

Thinking about how I found it made me wonder how other people found it. So tell me, how did you come across http://www.seibertron.com/ ?

It's been so long, I've almost forgotten. What I remember is just browsing transformers sites because I was a developing transfan. Found this site and lurked the boards for a while and liked what I saw of the general community. With 3 hours between classes back then, it seemed like a good way to kill time and I really got into it (hence my absurdly high post count). Just been hanging around since.

Time-wise, this was my early college days so 2001 into 2002.

I think it was back when news broke that they were making the movie. I did a few searches on information about it and that's what led me here. I lurked around a bit until the movie came out and I decided to sign up.

I was searching for Transformers Porn and found "Before Carly" instead. Wasn't quite hardcore but eh, there were still boobs.

Me, I was around on TFArchive in 2000, and found out about this place through there. Then I got into it with a couple of their douchebag moderators and left, came here and made this my permanent home. Been here since April 2001.

I started visiting a long time ago, back in 2002ish. I started getting into the Armada series and was excited to see the new figures. I started getting my news through a site called Decepticon Matrix, but it wasn't updating fast enough, so I went to the source they cited for a bunch of their figure pics, and got Seibertron.com.

I joined to mainly play HMW in 2003 during long boring days in class, back when a 10v10 mission has a lead time of up to 6 hours. I slowly expanded from there.

Well, I got banned from TFW for calling Megan Fox a b!tch and cursing too damn much, so I was depressed, and searched "Transformers forums" on Google and this site came up.

See, at that time I didn't know that the F word and S words where considered..."worse than the rest of the curse words".

I found this place purely by accident. I simply googled 'Transformers News' and this place was top of the list, I clicked on the link and the rest was history.

I don't remember, but it was sometime around 2009, when I first got into TFs.
I was into Animated back then, it was my first TF series. I get the feeling that I found Seibertron while i was either searching for Animated figure galleries, or trying to find reviews of TFA Shockwave and/or Blitzwing.

After that, Seibertron.com lived in my favorites bar for a few years up until now, when I joined the boards.

Back in 2003 I was diggng for more news on the prototype pictures of the first Masterpiece Optimus Prime and Binaltech Smokescreen. Discovered the forums and that was that. Stayed a regular until the first movie came out.

I was reading Roger Ebert's review of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Roger referenced Seibertron.com in his review about how dissapointed some of their fans are at the movie. :michaelbay:

I honestly can't recall how I found this site specifically, if I had to guess I'd say it was something about looking up further information and/or images of new Armada toys since I wasn't too impressed with the small number of relatively low-res images available on bwtf at the time. I do remember lurking around for quite some time before actually joining. I think it was around the time prototype pictures of Armada Unicron were released that I got so excited I had to register and join in the conversations, since where I lived at the time, there was REALLY nobody to talk robots with.

(This is the kind of thread bump that I can get behind, though!)

I remember lurking for a while, but am not entirely sure how or when I decided to get into the boards.
It was over summer, between my undergraduate and masters programmes, that's for sure. And it was when I started making lists of my collection. So maybe it was looking at what else was out there to add to mine, came across the galleries and joined in.
