Today it being my Birthday, I was able to scrounge up enough cash to go and pick up the 360 Elite, along with AC4.
Holy crap is the game fun.
Anyone else decide to head on out and pick up the Elite today?

Ouch, I hate it when stuff like that happens. Last Christmas had to use gift money to pay the rent. So couldn't pick up any systems or gifts.
However, it usually turns out to be a good thing, couldn't get a 360 then, but was able to get a better version later.

I've been wanting to get one, but I already have the premium version. I've been thinking of selling my old one and upgrade to the elite, but I'm concerned about my data. For one thing I don't wanna loose all my saved games and Live account. And 2nd I don't the buyer to be able to get my personal information.

Move your saves to a flash drive via USB and then delete your user profile on the system. Live isn't linked to any one console. You can recover your account on any 360.

Damn bastards. I've been waiting a long time for that game. And they don't even f****** bother releasing the demo for europe.
