Hello forum members! I've been lurking for awhile now and decided to dip my toes into the waters as I came across a knock off I have been unable to pinpoint. It appears to be a Blitzwing. I've also seen it names as an Overcharge. The thing that is odd is the vintage looking packaging. Any more insight into this fella would be much appreciated. Thanks

Before there was Transformers, there was Diaclone. Blitzwing is essentially a Diaclone mold with a re-colour in khaki and purple, while the original Diaclone colours were green and grey, hence the vintage box. Blitzwing was recently re-issued in both his Transformers and Diaclone colour schemes, the later being referred to as Overchange.

Looks like a Diaclone release, though you'd have to check under the wing for a Takara stamp to be sure. If so, nice find!

Try to check the embossed product stamp, if its an original then you're lucky. Btw the original Diaclone tank turret barrel is thinner than the TF Blitzwing.

How do I know/ I also own one.

Unfortunately upon further inspection I realized it's a Diaclone knockoff. I will say that the quality of this knockoff is quite good. Is there still any value in a vintage knockoff like this? Thanks for the responses everybody.

that is really vintage. on ebay its about 100-200 doolars. nice buy!

I'm unsure what you mean as it has no Takara stamp because it's most definitely a knockoff.
