I don't get it. Wouldn't Hasbro not want people to vote multiple times? I suppose the thing is though that they would rather encourage it for everyone to do it so that there are not just a handful voting for a particular one multiple times with other people voting only once.

By letting fans vote multiple times, Hasbro can inflate their statistic for "votes cast" and make the enthusiasm for the poll look a lot bigger for investors, as long as they don't mention the fact that people could vote up to three or four times each.
