I would prefer something along the lines of Animated or RID Magnus. The "white Prime with armor" works for MP, because that's the whole point of it, but this is CHUG. It would be redundant and unnecessary to just rehash the G1 figure.

Any news on when the Protectobot Evac Squad will come out in north America? Especially in Canada and hopefully, Québec?

It's been on Amazon for a good while now.-Kanrabat- wrote:Any news on when the Protectobot Evac Squad will come out in north America? Especially in Canada and hopefully, Québec?
It's not coming to Western retail. Both it and the other set were exclusive to the Transformers Kids Day event over in Southeast Asia.

You should have seen how divided the fandom became when Masterpiece Ultra Magnus was revealed to be ignoring it. Literally split the fandom in half with everyone either liking it or hating it.padfoo wrote:Sabrblade wrote:People really want the old white Prime cab inner robot on this toy, and using the new Voyager Prime mold as a base is but one of several ways that could be done.megatronus wrote:I'm not sure how people are making the jump from the "Generations Leader Ultra Magnus" rumor to "Voyager Prime repaint with armor" speculation. Thursday was Tuesday? Is it you who's confused, or is it me?
And since the current crop of Generations figures are based on the IDW comics, has anyone thought that the figure might come with a Minimus Ambus instead?
(What I really want is for it to combine with Optimus into Omega Prime, but that seems vastly unlikely.)

Seriously, it would.
Although I think it would never come to the Dutch stores...
Luckily we got webshops nowadays. Hallelujah!

That telxon from Walmart is never wrong. Trust me, I used to manage there. That price point is for a leader class figure. Note the markup percent next to the price? That's how much profit Walmart is making on the sale. Even the cheapest place to pick up a figure is getting over 28% out of it. Walmart pre-orders up to a year in advance to set their shelves. Leader class Magnus is coming. Promise

now, just the mystery of whether it's a movie repaint, white truck insert G1 style, or original-mold CHUG figure. Oh, the suspense!

I hate to say it but I think Leader Ultra Magnus will be an AOE Prime repaint. In 2014 I can't see how they would do a Leader UM that wasn't drastically different from the Masterpiece figure.

Though it's fanart, it's faithfully recreated from the official design.
