That reminds me of the following comment on the TV Tropes wiki entry named after that rule:

"This gets particularly bad with regards to Transformers. What disturbs me about those Pregnant Optimus pics isn't just that they exist to begin with, but also that Megatron is often implied as the "father". Bleagh.

Another odd phenomenon I've noticed is drawing fembot versions of, er, non-fembot characters. I have one friend who demanded the brain acid because I happened across a drawing someone did of fembot Ratchet and Hound and he caught himself thinking it was cute.

Yea it's always MEgatron that gets Prime pregnant, what I also noticed is that there are some people who let Megatron and starscream be am well sex-friends.... Or this crap I once found about Soundwave not being portrait in his "real" personalty, there is this woman that belives that she is the only person that knows that Soundwave is not loyal to Megatron but has fatherly instincts towards him, this person also writes stories in which she has sex with Megatron..... Oh Megatron will be so pleased when he finds out.

It's a two way street. On one hand, the people who write this stuff are over invested in characters that don't really exist, but on the other hand, there are those who actively seek out this trite.And it's not just the content that's so disturbing. Most of the time these stories are laughably bad and stay that way. Nobody ever became a better writer composing porn, because nobody reads porn for the composition.
