About the Classic collection...
Hey guys!
I recently started collecting Transformers again thanks to the movie.
Anyways, I completed the figures I wanted for my movie collection. I was thinking of getting figures from the original G1 cartoons, and I was adviced to look into the Classic line.
For that collection I have some specific figures that I would like to have, but I don't see all of them at the Hasbro site or here at the Classic gallery, so I wanted to check if you know about their existance in the line.
This is the list I would like to have, but just want to check if that line covers them. In parenthesis is availability based on what I've seen here and at Hasbro's site.
Autobots
Optimus Prime (it's there, of course)
Bumblebee (yes)
Ironhide (nope!)
Ratchet (nope)
Wheeljack (no)
Hound (nein)
Jazz (no)
Decepticons
Megatron (yes)
Soundwave (yes)
Starscream (yes)
Skywarp (yes)
Thundercracker (nope)
Ravage (yes)
Laserbeak (yes)
Thanks for the help!

Thundercracker does exist as one of the BotCon exclusives. Otherwise, your list is accurate.

Darn...
Well, I think I'll reduce it to Prime and Megs classic... until more figures become available.
Thanks guys for the input!

More or less. For one, yeah, there'll be Animated Ratchet, but if Ironhide's coming in Universe, then Ratch won't be too far behind.
Wheeljack, I'd have to disagree on. Energon Downshift is a much better homage in my book; even though the Cyb version has slightly better articulation, the Energon lad looks the part pretty much all over (and with a bit of tweaking can look even better).
Thundercracker again, yeah, you'll have to shell out a fair bit for the Botcon one, but if you fancy a crack with the brush (or spray can) there's always the option of making your own (you wouldn't believe how many people have)...

That Downshift from the Energon line would be more what I'm looking for. I'm convincing myself to start this collection due to the fact that a Hasbro representative that was delivering Transformers at Wal Mart's christmas-season building told me that they were gonna deliver more lines beside the movie line. They were delivering the Titanium line at that moment (and they had plenty of different figures beside the movie line!), but she told me to check every other day since they will be delivering TF lines constantly... so Overckracker, you might wanna check what they are doing at your Wal Mart!

You're going to need a spare $600 to complete the seekers because of their exclusivity.
just fyi...

Thanx, but i already have all the classics figs I want.
Well maybe some from the Titanium line I missed.
But still you won't find Ironhide, Ratchet, Jazz, Hound until maybe next year.
None of the lines from this year have any molds for them.
Except the ones I mentioned. And yeah maybe Energon Downshift, works better for Wheeljack. But he's just too stiff IMHO.

Yes, Overcracker... I think it's gonna be difficult...
On the other part, I already told my wife about Classic Prime and Megs and she gave me this look with a grunt, a la Marge Simpson hehehe! Let's see how this turns out...
If you want, tell me which Titanium figures you are still missing, and I can check if they are available at my Wal Mart (the one that's near Toreo de 4 Caminos.)

Well ain't that a sticker. That's the Wal-Mart I usually go to, although I haven't been there in a while.
I'll have to go look for Titanium R.I.D Optimus Prime, Jetfire, The Fallen, WWI Megatron, and Sunstorm.

Ok, I took the plunge and got Optimus Prime Classic DeLuxe just a few minutes ago through deremate.com.mx. I'll pick it up over the weekend.
Now I have to find Megatron Classic DeLuxe (battle tank version), cause I just saw the Classic gun version at the galleries and... well... not my taste.
IT HAS BEGUN!

Hound is an open top jeep, like Strongarm.
Hound is all green, like Strongarm. Brawn is clearly mostly yellow in Bot mode.
Hound has a shoulder mounted cannon, like Strongarm.
just making my case, but I think Strongarm in this repaint is clearly more Hound.

I agree, a white star reprolabel on the hood, and you are there.
I actually give my Longarm Energon Rodimus's gun. It fits perfectly in both modes, and looks really good. If only I could get a silver knockoff for it.
If I ever find a knockoff Rodimus I'm gonna buy him just for the gun, and repaint it silver.

Overcracker, I just checked the TF section at Wal Mart's toy building. The only Titanium figure they have from the list you posted here is RiD Optimus Prime (the fire fighter truck.)
Didn't check the price, though.
