I got Cannonball today, and he is COOL!!! Love this guy. Get him and Red Alert. Here's a little list of coolies:

1. Cannonball-Decep
2. Red Alert-Auto
3. Excellion-Auto
4. HotShot-Auto
5. Unicron-Decep
6. Hardtop-Decep
7. Armorhide-Decep
8. Primus-Auto
9. Smokescreen
10.Dirt Boss

They don't cost an arm and a leg to get, and they're fun. :)

cool, I love this fan site, its always helpful and rewarding to new guys and girls in the fandom looking for news, help, and advice.

That list of goodies was from me asking pretty much the same question here not too long ago about Cybertron Figures. I got LOTS of great feedback.

At first, I wasn't too thrilled with the new stuff being pretty much all plastic (only the screws and pins are metal now) compared to my G1 toys. But after a while, I like it more because paint chips off of metal parts. The transformations on these Cybertron and Movie figures is sooo cool too. Oh, and don't forget to look into the Classics line!

I am okay with the plastic considering I grew up with the Beast Wars, and I recently acquired the Japanese reissues, and I gotta say, wow!!!

this forum cam e to 26 posts and no flames so far. Nice to see a posative post from this fandom! Kudos ;)^

I may check out Classics, but I'm not sure how much I can get with those, since I'm kinda polaying catch up with the Unicron trilogy.

One advantage to Classics is that it's only a small line. If you ignore the Minicons and Legends which don't really fit in anyway being essentially leftovers from the Cybertron line theres only:

MEGAS
Optimus,
Jetfire,
Megatron,
Magnus (store exclusive 2 pack with Skywarp).

DELUXES
Bumblebee,
Cliffjumper,
Rodimus,
Grimlock,
Mirage,
Starscream,
Ramjet,
Astrotrain,
Optimus (2 pack with Megs),
Megatron (2 pack with Prime),
Skywarp (store exclusive 2 pack with Magnus).

COMBINERS
Recoloured Energon Constructicons (store exclusive boxed set).

and the Botcon exclusives, which are unfortunately prohibatively expensive.

The small size of the line and the fact that they're comparatively recently released makes it a relatively easy line to be completist about. They're all pretty nice toys too, although I suppose not having the whole G1 childhood memories may take off some of the appeal that a large section of the fandom gets from them. I don't count Soundwave since he's technically a G1 reissue and I was in two minds about whether or not to mention the Constructicons, but I did recommend them in my post back on the first page regarding Energon and these are the nicer version of the two sets with nicely intergrated colours. Plus you get them as a set so you're not stuck chasing down individual limbs. I would have mentioned Classics previously but you were only asking after A/E/C and I didn't want to bombard you with too much info. Overall a nicer line than Armada though and worth a look if you can justify it to yourself.
