They're looking at a spot across the street on King George, no real details yet.

Kingsway. King George is Surrey.

Once I ran an Anime festival with over 6,000 attendees. Now... not so much.

Sounds like it. WTF are they going to put there? And at the Disney Store & Millenium spots, for that matter? I thought they just went under due to recession, didn't know the mall practically kicked them out.

They're converting the whole section of stores into a huge clothing store. I guess from a financial standpoint it makes sense, but from a geek sense it sucks

That does suck, but what store? If it's H&M, I'm slightly less bothered...

H&M I can see going in there, but TRU will be getting shafted at that location if there are no small stores on that approach.
They would be better off opening up an outside door or swapping spots with Old Navy at this point.
I wonder if Games Workshop is being moved within the complex or tossed out as well. (thou they could have taken over the dragon at Millennium, that could have worked.) seeing they have been with the mall a pretty long time, they might be in better graces for being kept around.

Re: Canada Transformers sightings
I'm honestly really shocked that TRU doesn't have an outside entrance already, since there's other stuff on that side of the mall AND they have a sign outside. If I didn't already know better I would've tried to access it from that side.
Man, now I'm all anxious about Metropolis moving...there are a couple things in the case I want, but now I'm worried they'll get sold or I just won't have a chance for a long time.
Edit: Oh yeah, apparently there are about fifty-bazillion Recon Ravages at Metro TRU, if anyone actually wants that thing... No other new deluxes yet though.

Well they do actually have a door there, but it is for larger pick-up items (mostly from Babies R Us) and I think it enters the store in the section right at the front opposite the CS desk.
They would likely need to completely reno that corner and open up an outside door where the R-zone is that leads to the employee smoke pit between the Sears and the access way door that opens by Devon Shoes in the Bay/Food Court wing.

Re: Canada Transformers sightings
Hmm, well I bet they might get a few more customers if you could enter from that side.
Metro TRU had at least 7 Bludgeons and even more Ironhides earlier today. New scouts too, but the Scattorshots were all picked clean.
Metropolis has a few more figures in the case, courtesy of me.
Traded a bunch in for the Henkei Onslaught in the case and some cash. I'm saving up for that Fansproject Snowman kit.
Edit: Lansdowne TRU also had 4 each of Bludgeon & Ironhide on Sunday. Also a couple Scattorshots and Dirges.

Will Animated Arcee be coming to Canada? Or have I already missed it?

Re: Canada Transformers sightings
Arcee and Ratchet have supposedly been seen already in Eastern Canada, but have not showed up in Western Canada yet, as we usually get things several weeks later here. With the new NEST figures showing up in Walmarts and TRUs this week, I'm hoping Arcee's not far behind.
On that note, Mindwipes have been sighted at TRUs all around the lower mainland, and NEST deluxes at Walmarts, although you know how it is, things sell out quickly at first. There were 8 Mindwipes reported at the Broadway/Bowmac TRU yesterday, though it's hard to say how many are left now.

Found Human Alliance Mudflap, Blue Chromia and Agent Simmons at TRU Yonge and Eglinton (Toronto). Please see pic for proof. Only one there. I believe he came with Barricade in the case assortment so I would he is out too?

They've also been spotted at BC TRUs, and now a Barricade was seen at a Zellers.

So want Barricade! Would have loved to find him instead of Mudflapper.

So is anyone else going to the Canadian Toy Expo in Burlington on the 25th? If it's anything like TFcon, it should be a good time
.

Well, just got back from the Toy Expo. It was pretty cool (even got a picture with a Storm Trooper). Ended up picking up Energon Optimus Prime, Universe Inferno, Warbot Defendor, and a
decal for my car.

I was there too. I got G1 Slag for too much (by $20) and the Botcon Wings of Honour set for a great deal. I helped my sister get a MotU Classics Adora, an original She-ra Sweet Bee, and a biography on Rita Heyworth.
Kinda going on a tangent there, though.

Yeah, it's kind of like "better late than never", but I think for most us it's too late because most probably imported their Arcees already.

Yeah, I was equal parts pissed and surprised when I saw them today. Hopefully they will start popping up more so everyone can get one. Wish Hasbro would have handled them much better.
