I just got back from Metrotown, where they had a bunch of the new Deluxes, along with a few Rescue Ratchets (one of which I bought), Thundercrackers (one of which I might get next week), and Voyager Prime and Megs.

But that's nothing compared to what I found at the Ages Three and Up store two stores down: imported Beast Wars figures, imported G1 figures (Dinobots, Mirage, Ironhide and Ratchet) along with some older Beast Wars stuff (including everyone's favorite peg warmer, Drill Bit), five or six Masterpiece Megatrons and a bunch of loose BW, RID and Armada figures.

If you live in Burnaby, BC, get down to Metrotown mall and check that place out.

Yup, that's the place we've been talking about.

Just so you know though, the Dinobots and Mirages are the controversial 'reproductions'. The Ratchets and Ironhides are real Encores though. If you have any doubts just ask the staff, they're completely honest and informative about what they sell.

The 401 & Winston Churchill Wal-Mart has all the new exclusive deluxes as well as the latest deluxe wave (Stockade, Jungle Bonecrusher, Overcast). They also had EVAC and First Strike Optimus Prime.

Not really. Just asked because I'm gonna be going down to the Toys 'R Us to pick up a Thundercracker (it's not Starscream, but it'll do) and to the HMV to get Genesis of the Daleks and Remembrance of the Daleks, and wanted to see if any Seibertronians were going to be there and maybe wanted to hang out or something.

Hmm...this makes me wonder, were you there last weekend? Maybe we met already and didn't know it.

Hah, nope I wasn't there last weekend, I was the weekend before, but I usually go during the week after work. But yeah, maybe it would be cool to meet up sometime, this weekend I don't have plans to go yet. It normally depends on if they post any new arrivals in their forum and if I don't have other obligations. :mrgreen:

Hey guys. I just got all 4 WalMart exclusive deluxes. If you're thinking of getting them, think again. They all seem to have problems. Divebomb has the same problem as Thundercracker did. His massive arm cannon is way too heavy for his tiny arm. Grindcore, at least mine, 1 of the wheels on his legs that moves around in a ratcheted motion is off. I may have to take him apart and see if I can fix it. Big Daddy had some bad paint apps on his face. And there's the fact his head can only move like 1 degree to either side. I think there's a mod to fix that, I might dig that up and try it. And Jolt I think his windshield was glued to his hood because it was a bitch to seperate the 2. And his shoulder missle pods are off. 1 doesn't come down as far as the other. Maybe the spring isn't tight enough. But I think that's a universal problem with that mold I remember from Crosswise and Smokescreen. So buyer beware.

Yikes. I wasn't really going to pick any of them up, but thanks for the warning. I've got most of those molds already and I'm waiting for a decent repaint of the Downshift mold, so they weren't really on my list, but I'm sure there are others wanting to get them.

Zellers is currently having a sale: TF Deluxes are now $9.99, so go out and grab a Landmine if you don't have one yet.

Sightings in the Montreal Area:
- Legends Action Figures has Nightwatch Prime. Overpriced, though.
- Zellers Place Alexis Nihon has restocked their TF section. Deluxes are on the pegs and there is a single Offroad Ironhide and one First Strike Prime.

Ages Three and Up has a big dusty loose (not in box) Galaxy Force Galvatron for $59.99 if anyone's interested. I actually prefer the Cybertron version's paint job and $60 is a little too much for something without the packaging, IMO. He's complete as far as I could tell though.

Whoops, don't know where my brain was when I posted that. lol, yes it was the Galvatron.

I also forgot to mention that they have a whole whack of Encore Skylynxes!! Wasn't on my list of TF's I want, but I'm sure there's lots of people who do want it.

TRU Brossard (South Shore of Montreal, Quebec) restocked like mad! Deluxes from Wave 1 (old Camaro, Brawl, Jazz, etc) are restocked, as well as various others: Arcee, Cliffjumper, Landmine, that black and yellow jet repaint, etc.

There are also Leaders in stock: Brawl, Prime, Megatron, and Voyagers, too, including Rescue Ratchet, Offroad Ironhide, and Evac (the first time I've seen him at retail).

I saw Evac at TRU the other day. Didn't seem very good, especially since his raft was loose and bouncing around in the box.

I'm done with the movie line. So unless Hasbro starts releasing more Classics in the movie line, I'll be saving my money for Animated and Universe.
