Little purple rubber robots that looked like other G1 robots. No articulation, no transforming, like a rubber army man. Pretty much a transformer character eraser.

They were all red to start out with. After the initial release, the cons were changed to purple. They were pack-ins with the Throttlebots, Technobots, and Terrorcons, there were 52 of them and they were random. Also, in Japan, they sold a box set containing all of them along with an exclusive Laserbeak.

Yeah, $4 is about the going rate. Some of the rarer ones can actually fetch upwards of $20. Crazy, I know.

As for the picture, it looks like a G2 design but I don't recognize it. Maybe it's a UK only G2?

Some of them were pretty cool. Rumble was the only show accurate rumble ever, being purple. :P

I actually have all the throttlebots. Why did I get them? Decoys. I have two of the white car and two of the garbage truck. They came with different ones. It was hard to convince my parents i didn't already have them. I don't regret it though, my Jazz decoy stands proudly in my shrine of Jazzy goodness.

Yup, it's one of our G1.5 toys (the only time in the history of time the UK DIDNT get stiffed).

Buggered if I know the name.

Haha 'buggered'. To all my UK friends on here, I love your slang. It kicks the crap out of the 'urban' BS here in the States.

That guy is Turbomaster Flash

http://tfu.info/1992/Autobot/Flash/flash.htm

As for the Decoys, I've got the full set of the Japanese versions (numbered differently to the US/Euro releases). Only Jap one that I'm missing is the super rare yellow version of Sunstreaker. I think they're a lot of fun for what they are and are a great piece of nostalgia for the dars when I did indeed try to use them as erasers (they don't work :D ).

Did you click on the TFU link?

Autobot

Function: Decoy
Sub-group: Turbomasters

Whoever's listing it either has the tech specs or did a bit of homework.
