Megatron's Master Plan. The closest G1 ever got to a good Human+TF story IMO. Still could have used some fleshing out though.

Can't recall if it was "Starscream's Ghost" or "Ghost in the Machine" but whichever one included Unicron. Starscream AND Unicron: Great villains just don't stay dead.

"Return of Optimus Prime" was also among the best, just cause I got to see Optimus beat the **** out of Roddy.

"Grimlock's New Brain" Great Grimlock episode, made even better by the introductions of my favorite G1 combiner group: the Technobots!
