I am glad about one thing, I guess the fact that SG Megatron is once again using the WFC Mold is proof, all 5 of these weren't just going to all come from the SS86 line. I honestly thought it was just going to be 5 SS86 toys repainted/slightly retooled as SG.

Leakers have been talking about it being Jetfire, Starscream and Goldbug for a while now.

That's what I'm hoping for. But they already used that mold to death. Will they actually use it again? I can't wait for the reveal.

Seeing as how they've only used that mold one time as Starscream and they've used the Megatron mold 8 times as Megatron, I don't think it's an issue.

Isn't it weird that there are already 8 different versions of that mold yet he can't really be called a troop builder? 'Cause, y'know, Megatron.

Thanks, I wasn't aware. Starscream I guess could be either a Siege or ER recolor. Goldbug will probably be a gold repaint of Selects Bugbite (can't have the VW associated with evil). Also, I guess that is pretty bold they will be repainting/retooling Siege Jetfire- a CC, will probably be $100 with the increased pricing. That would be the one I'm most tempted to get, but I'll pass.

A commander redeco seems quite risky. If Jetfire wasn't huge in shattered glass, then I can easily see SG Starscream being the Siege seeker mold and SG Jetfire being the ER Seeker mold.

He is supposed to be the Commander mold according to leakers so far, the first one to talk about it before we knew specifically what line they were talking about kept mentioning how we were getting the first Commander class repaint in an exclusive subline this year. Plus the original figure that got repurposed into SG Jetfire was a repaint of the Classics Jetfire mold, so he is supposed to resemble Jetfire to some extent (although he didn't do much in original SG, I think).

At the same time, the leakers also keep mentioning that no one seems to know what mold Goldbug is, so maybe he'll be a CJ/BB repaint or maybe he'll be a larger Deluxe car mold, since this recent Megatron reveal referenced the original more than we expected and the original SG Goldbug used one of the Hot Shot molds.

I may pick up SG Jetfire if it's the Commander Class one. I never picked up the original, but if he keeps the faction swap gimmick then I may have to decide if I wanna put him on my Shattered Glass shelf, or if I wanna put him on my normal shelf as a big Decepticon. Also, since it's new fiction, I think Jetfire could be as big as they want him to be, regardless of the original's size.

And in regards to the rumor of Goldbug, I assume he'll be a retool of the Battlecharger mold because of that fake chest piece giving them the chance to change that out for a different design. He'd be a bit taller, but he is supposed to be an upgrade to Bee, so I don't see an issue with it

Should've been from Galvatron I think. Could also have really used a new head. It's a nice effort, but I'm not interested.

Some said a Selects Titan would never happen, and here we are with Black Zarack already pre-ordered through Pulse. I'm sure SG Jetfire will be Siege Jetfire, and I can't wait to see how they trick out the mold. SG Megatron is both amazingly lazy and incredibly inspired. Add a couple of accessories, and to my eyes, it makes a decent spaceship.

I've seen else where that you can fold the legs in better to have less gap between the body and 'cockpit'

I always just say it's Megatron summoning different versions of himself from across the multiverse to battle all the Primes. Like Rodimus in Rengeration One.

Secured mine when it was $30, it is out of left field and neat, I like it. It doesn't really fully work, but it's a good attempt and pretty neat

SG Blurr looks good. SG Megatron... from an execution point of view Hasbro could have done so much better.

Jetfire better be the commander class. That's the 1 figure I'm most hyped up over. If it turns out to be a voyager I won't be able to handle the disappointment.

I have the Classics SG Jetfire & I'm dying to put them both together.

I was hoping for another reveal this week. Nothing on Tuesday so maybe Friday?

My friend pointed out something very interesting about SG Megs, or rather, what he's lacking. He should be using the "Combat Megatron" head from the Siege mold, because if you invert the colors from Combat Megatron:



The head is a near perfect match for the original Shattered Glass Megatron's look (and not Scary looking):



I'm curious why they didn't use that head when it's available for the mold?

It's a decent match, for sure, and a wasted opportunity to use that head more than once:

I believe Rotorstorm only had stock images, not photos of the actual test shot like here. Mistakes can still be made though...

Thanks to Seibertronian Razorbeast88, we have a new video review to show you! He pointed us towards Kremzeek's Reviews, who have just pushed a review of Shattered Glass Blurr! The retooling from Studio Series 86 Blurr are minor, limited to a new (and creepy looking) head. He comes with the same arc-welder and gun that SS86 Blurr does, but is done up in a very different deco, trading Blurr's lighter blues and white for darker blues, gray, and black, with a lightning bolt deco on the front of his hover car mode.



Do you already have this figure preordered? SG Blurr is scheduled to be released this September, with Shattered Glass Megatron and three Othe yet-to-be-revealed Shattered Glass figures.
