How are the animation companies Toei and Akom similiar, are they related or not?

Because Toei and Akom did the animation for the original 1980's G1 cartoon, and many other 80's cartoon and well into the 90's. I know that Toei is from Japan, and Akom is from South Korea, but yet their animation looks identical. I know that the vast majority of the episodes of the Transformers G1 cartoon was done by Toei, but most of season 2 and early season 3, and season 4 rebirth episodes were done by Akom. Anyway, do the companies Toei and Akom work together?

There's no relation that I've been able to find. I think whatever consistency there is in G1 is more due to Sunbow's and Marvel's requirements than any cooperation between Toei, AKOM and the unnamed Filipino studio. Toei is notorious for being touchy to work with, and AKOM is infamous for sloppy work (Bruce Timm did fire them from working on Batman TAS, after all).

Transformers always had animation errors but it seems like of all the studios Akom was the biggest offender. their episodes had more errors than Toeis.

Toei's artwork and character models seemed more detailed with more shadows and shading. Akom's looked more flat. The actual animation even seemed smoother in the Toei episodes.

Its funny cause I LIKE some of the Akom animated episodes like Dark Awakening and City of Steel a lot and only imagine how much better they would be if Toei had worked on them.

I remember there was a Robocop cartoon in the late 1980's that was done by Marvel Productions, animated by AKOM, also Dino-Riders as well, Peter Cullen and Frank Welker were in Dino-Riders.

Frank Welker did the voice of Emperor Krulos, his right-hand man, Rasp, his voice sounded just like Chris Latta, but it actually was not him, a lot of fans are still confused even to this day, it was either Frank Welker or Charlie Adler.

lol, I know this doesn't really have anything to do with Transformers, Clarence Boddicker, the main villain from the first Robocop movie, actually appears in an episode in the Robocop cartoon.
