Leader Megatron question
Is the head removable when he is in alt mode? I found one of these at the Target by me and I'm really tempted to get him, to go next to my Leader Prime..
Thanks
Thanks

Head not movable at all. It sits on a rectangular peg, which avoid it to move in anyway or swivel around. Articulation wise, Meg is pretty bad, and nothing close to Leader Prime or Brawl. arms and legs have smaller range of movement, and the feet has trouble balancing the figure other than a straight standing pose, thinks to the automorph on the feet with flimpsy toes.
Get him if you really like Megatron or have to have him. But just as a toy, he is passable. Not horrible as he does have some cool bits, but not very good overall. Articulation aside, he really needs a paint job to save his look as well.

Yeah, if you don't like Megatron, don't get Leader Megs, and if you're not willing to customize him, don't get him, cuz that means you're not getting your full money's worth.

In answer to your question, yes Leader megs head can be removed for his Alt mode. his head in on a ball joint...
I recommend getting him, and go to a hobby shop and find some silver detail or silver chrome gloss enamel to modify that sucker!

Oh, and Imo voyager is a waste of $$$ if you have a leader prime.
They would look crazy together, and juding by the beating megs handed prime in the move, would you rather anything else less than a leader size?

Lol the most ridiculous size ratio though was Machine Wars, where Megatron was a BASIC and Prime an Ultra. I just can't see that happening in real life.
Whereas Leader Megatron is at least worth having a look at.

It's on a ball joint so you can take it off. Also it locks in place with a clip on the shoulders, but looks better when not in place, the head actualy has alot of movement possibilites, if you avoid the directions

You can check out the Machine Wars gallery. It was ridiculous. Megatron was an F-22 Raptor, but nevermind the fact that jets are bigger and more powerful than trucks, Megatron still ended up at a basic, with a simple gun and nothing else. And his colours scheme was pretty bad too. I actually want to get this figure though.

Yeah, even though it was a disappointment, it's oddly tempting.

Yeah I want all the Decepticon basics from Machine Wars. I just want to get him so that he can be crushed by my Leader Prime

.... but i still dont get how voyager megs was #1 in toyfare's top ten list of the hottest toys in the august issue and neither BBs were no where in that list
