My Transformers Transwarp Picture.

Got a great pic of G1 Op or BW Megs? Whether it's 2-D or 3-D it's welcome as is any other form of art outside the custom figure world.

My Transformers Transwarp Picture.

Postby Dingoma » Tue Nov 27, 2007 4:28 pm

I have here my Trnsformers picture which it I made for the last 2 years.

I hope your comments are better the last forum I went to, which is animexpansion.com.

Here's my photobucket's account since I rather not bring all the pictures here.

Ask any straight questions.

Also I need to ask something to any toymaker, How do I make my own transformers in toys?

Nice pics. I love the "doodled on lined, any paper hany" look. Shows how they came right out of your head. Not trying to bend form between alt modes, and including alt modes is great. There are many who i am sure wish they could reproduce your imagination like that. As im sure you know they can be improved with further technical ability and i believe you have come to the right place for advice without derogatory criticism, of how to find tutorials to help you expand on your ideas. The style has the fashion dummy feel, which your drawings dont lend character just impression of eventual look. Study of posture and expression will bring that along. Slightly oversizing heads helps to give a canves for expression of personality more than anything, which you seem to have done. None appear to be faces added to an adopted historical armour helmet which is refreshing. I like the colours you have used and learning photoshop (truly not as daunting as it sounds) could help you immensely.
On the down side, they do look a bit Power Rangers. Fitting thier design to one of the many factions and timelines of TF would help others understand where your coming from. Read other threads within this forum and follow the links. Most people are very generous with tutorials and advice, but please dont expect a personal tutor. There is an abundance of advice here of how and what to do to kitbash, repaint and digibash. Kitbashing isnt cheap! Be warned lol.
Fundamental rule of any form of artwork.
ENJOY IT!
That is all the reward you ever need. The better you become, the more critical your supposed peers become. Pride in your ability at any level is key to advancing to a better one.

Thanks!

Oh and FYI, the Blendtron Knight ARE based from Power Rangers zords mixed toghther.

Pitstop is based from me.

Bratiburst is based from my little sister, who is a brat.

Cickelcron is based from my half-sister, who I lothe entirely, and the color from Unicron. The second version is a merging from heshe and Unicron's head in 2296.

Also on the kitbashing thing, some of transformers I made are unique. I do I know which transformers figure should I use to make one?

Being a TF relic as in a first time around transfan and pushing 34 :-x i am far too old to appreciate PR's. Thats the style you aimed for and you hit the mark.

Sisters? I got 1. There were times i would have loved to feed her to a sharkticon, but couldnt do without her now. :D

Look to the sticky resource thread for advice of what to use to repaint the figure you have in mind. Then go for it!

So what could I make from my Armada Megatron?

Also if any member of this thread could make a version of my original, reply now, or forever hold your peace.
