I just saw the comparison pics between the KO and the henkei thundercracker. I really want hasbro to release him, but that doesn't look like it's happening anytime soon. should i get the ko? how is the service from kotoys, i've never ordered from there. thanks for the help! :MAXIMAL:

Bit of a tricky question to ask given the controversy of those KOs. I've ordered from KOtoys once before, and despite the end result of that purchase I'd say their service is decent. I found the buying system to be a bit odd, but it works okay if you understand it.

I'm more than a little tempted to go after them myself, but I don't have any cash to spare right now. Plus, like I said, I have bought KOs before from KOtoys and while I should've expected it, they didn't quite fill the roles I had in mind. So I'm likely going to be weary of KO purchases from now on... even if these ones appear to be better than what they imitate. I have a TC that I repainted from a Classics Starscream anyway, so while it would be nice to have the KO I don't need it.

I'll have to say this: wait it out.

Seriously, as much they look like the real thing they're still fakes, and chances are, with the Classics Seeker mold (the original, not the degraded updated one) still in decent condition, that Hasbro may produce a proper mass-retail Thundercracker. May, as I estimate the chances pretty slim, even as a store exclusive.

Honestly, I'd agree with GoldRabbit that Hasbro will eventually do a TC for you/us.

Patience is a virtue, especially in TF collecting. For instance, Gentei Thrust and Dirge, limited exclusive to Japan, lots of fans tried getting them under the impression they'd never see domestic release, especially with the BotCon versions a few years back. Guess what, Hasbro pulled that trick. I'd expect them to find a way for Thundercracker.

I already had the Henkei TC, and I bought two of these with absolutely no regrets.

No, they are not "real", but at a casual glance, you really can't tell the difference. The quality is good.

And heck, if Hasbro releases a Thundercracker in the future, there's a good chance that it won't be in this same deco, so you can buy him all over again. I have three TCs, both real and KO, sitting in my house right now, and if Hasbro released a TC tomorrow, I'd pick it up.
