The issue came out in 2008, so there's no doubt in my mind he was inspired by Optimus Prime. I think it's kinda neat, and worthy enough to share. A neat homage if nothing else. What do you think?
But if your wanting to track down the issue just for the Anti-Galactus armor...don't. It's a one punch fight that's sort of a story point. And no, it didn't fight Galactus.
