I have a Nintendo Power review of it, but it never was available as a rental in my town. I just Googled it though—cool graphics!

Yes, I got it earlier this year, totally awsome game! I actually got a suggestion of it from a fellow seibertronian(sorry, I can't remember who exactly  ) that suggested it in a thread I made about niche' games.

It's a really cool side scrolling shooter/slight exploration game. The box art and ads for the game were really misleading, as the mech shown doesn't even look like the mech in the game. Definitely a great game, and I don't think it's that expensive either. I got mine from a local place that has vintage games for only $3. E-bay BIN's seem comperable.

I accidently got it back in the day when Best Buy still carried SNES games when it was on the way out and the games were cheap. I was looking for Metal Warriors(which I had only rented), and figured it would be similar. I was like 9 or 10 at the time, maybe younger, and the game was too damn hard. So it sat around for years until I decided to man up and take it on.

I still cant beat the last level, think I need the napalm gun cheat

I twas one of the best games I've ever played, and apparently the original Japanese version, Assault Suits Valken is even better

God I wish I wasnt a stupid kid back then, All of the boxes and manuals are unfortunately long, long gone

If it's better than or equal to Metal Warriors, it has to be a great game.

It lacks the multiplayer and ability to exit your mech, but it is excellent

Its driven by a great story too, and to top it off, its selling for fairly cheap on half.com and ebay
