If there's a booze thread, that would be awesome to link here.

You're only as old as you feel or something.
Well I may have fudged the pretzels today. I'm down to the bottom of the bag and it's hard to count all the broken pieces.

So yeah, this is pretty much my regular Friday lunch. Every other day of the week I make my own, Friday is my "treat" day so I head in to the local deli. Provided I can get a park of course.

I've never had Turkish bread, as a lover of bread I need to know. That sounds like a flavor explosion and one that I'm not familiar with, color me intriqued.Burn wrote:• Turkish Bread

Avocado makes everything better. Ever have it on a BLT, a burger, in a smoothie? All better!

Toasted sammiches are great, but why aren't we talking coffee? I'm currently having a love affair with the coffee I made this morning.
Coffee is the best; dark, robust, caffeine and it's zero calories.
So what's your poison? Me, I'm a Community - New Orleans blend man.

There's a lot of coffee I like. My all time favorites are either French or Italian roast. They taste great on their own or with cream.
My second favorite would be Kona, which comes from Hawa'ii; it has a really good nutty flavor, but can be a bit light for my taste. So I usually drink that with flavored creams for dessert and/or with a cigar.
I've only had Jamaican coffee (I think it's called Jabloon) once before, but I think I loved it.
EDIT: Okay, I actually lied; I've had Jamaican coffee plenty of times, and it's called Blue Mountain. It's frikkin phenomenal.

I've had Kona a few different times. Some are better (read stronger) than others. I'm pretty basic, I just like it strong.
And YES, coffee and cigars pair excellently (almost better than with whisky), especially the coffee infused ones.
I'll have to keep an eye open for that Jamaican coffee, next time we're T the world market.

I don't think there's much difference between Turkish bread and regular bread, it's a little thicker and from what I know MUST be toasted.
Avocado makes everything better.
Yessssss. The deli I go to has someone make up their avocado spread using a home recipe. There are weeks they actually don't have it (generally when avos are out of season) and I notice the taste difference immediately.

I was going to tell you to shut up ... but yeah, it's an enemy. I've definitely cut down on how much I use to have years ago though, and for a while I was having wraps for lunch, but they were just tasteless so I've gone back to a sandwich for lunches.

Cheerleaders made this kid feel funny.............. as in seeing some female skin undies during their "upskirt" sessions filled his immature (I'm being kind) brain with impure thoughts
Like that scene in "Mystery Men" when looking at the bad gals shrinking costumes made Ben Stiller's costume "tight"

Sad, entirely because we're not living in the 1800s, and a teenage boy having "impure thoughts" about cheerleaders is about as noteworthy as water being wet.

Well there's plenty of reasons why a teenage boy wouldn't; gay, asexual, none of the girls are really his type, etc. etc. But a teenage boy complaining to his counselor that he was thinking about plowing the cheerleading team because of their skirts, should have been met with "Puberty is a hell of a drug. Get out of my office."
