For those of you finding the 35th Anniversary WalMart Displays, are they being put up in or bear the Toy Aisles or as part of a Christmas Display elsewhere in stores? None of my Walmarts are showing aby opeb spaces ob their endcaps so I dont know if I am walking past my Springer or if he's not beibg put out yet.

You still have a haloween aisle? I thought they would replace it wuth Christmas asap.
Wolfman Jake wrote:My local Walmart already took down their Transformers endcap display. They just stuffed everything that was on it into the Transformers section in the regular toy aisles, and I mean STUFFED. The pegs were overflowing with Bluestreak and Wave 3 figures. The Voyager spots on the shelf were STACKED with all of the regular retail Siege Voyagers except for wave 1 Optimus Prime and the upcoming Apeface. Even the area over head was stacked with extra Siege figures. I don't know why they gave up on the display so soon. It couldn't have been up for more than a week.

I was looking around my local one like an idiot, until I found them by poking around the halloween clearance and holiday shopping aisles. They should be in the area with the larger toys that the regular toy aisles won't accommodate.

Nobluck there. My stores have a bunch of stuff like tgat by the Bikes but no joy there either, and aisle displays of toys running from Electronics to Automotive and even stuff going down the main aisle towards the checkout, so it really feels like they could he everywhere... Or nowhere

Because I have Apeface pre-ordered on there, and haven't actually gotten any notification saying it's cancelled, but I'm also worried they may end up just not sending out copies to people who pre-ordered with them
I wouldn't be too worried yet. This happened before on something transformers that I pre-ordered from them, but I don't remember which one. The page was eventually restored and I ended up getting whichever one it was on time. I would keep an eye on the ship date (mine says November 15th release, arriving November 17th.) If they miss that date, then I would pre-order from Hasbro Pulse if you have a premium membership, or add something else you would end up buying anyway to get above $70 for free shipping.
Alright, fair enough. The only other time I've ordered anything from Amazon was Punch/Counterpunch so I was just concerned, but thanks for the quick reply

Wolfman Jake wrote:I'd be surprised if Inferno wasn't in the regular retail line-up for Earthrise. Fire trucks are ALWAYS a sure sell for kids.

I'm willing to agree with this. I am also willing to say that Artfire will be a selects release or exclusive of some sort
JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:So far, most molds have seen a retool being released, some of them being "legacy retools" (based on the original G1 toys. So Sideswipe into Sunstreaker will not happen, Red Alert already fills that role). I can see this being continued in Earthrise, so Inferno and Trailbreaker will almost definitely happen, with Exhaust (Wheeljack) and Hubcap (Cliffjumper) as more than decent bonuses.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

Exhaust has the cooler head though, I would prefer him over Slicer personally not that I'm opposed to them making a Slicer since he's cool to.
Yeah, after that fiasco, I'd really be surprised if Hasbro would ever touch another Exhaust toy with a ten foot pole.Wolfman Jake wrote:Deadput wrote:AcademyofDrX wrote:Forget about Exhaust, the Marlboro Bot. It's time for Slicer!

Slicer would be easier for Hasbro and Takara to do, just because it's a straight up repaint. Marlboro is a little tougher, not only because it requires a head retool, but also because they have to strike a delicate balance between the original Diaclone "Marlboro Wheeljack" deco and what is legally allowed in Hasbro markets, given that the original deco is trademarked by Philip Morris, and that it is a "children's toy" that references tobacco products. Takara had a HELL of a time releasing Masterpiece Exhaust a few years ago, and selling it outside of Japan was even more of a hassle for third party sellers like TFSource and BBTS.
