The 2 Core class Dinos are not technically fossilizers as they don't break apart, but that design still looks awesome. As someone who put together the 6 fossilizers in a very different way, I think the creativity is great.

By pure chance, I've just been discussing how I've wanted a TF version of "Tiamat" from D&D, and your fan-mode send like a good way of also doing that.

Well, Waspinator just arrived. Will mess around with it later today, maybe post some pics with OG Waspy. Never bought T30 Waspy or animated Waspy.
I wonder if Hasbro would be inclined to give us a Fox Kids repaint with the robot head, probably in Selects. I would be all over that.
Welp, Waspinator is kind of a mess. fiddly and doesn't;t stay together win either mode.
Kind of disappointed, but Megs needed someone to command.

I mean, we are supposed to be getting 2 of those so far, so it all comes down to how many times they want to repaint the mold (and how many specifically yellow repaints they want).Sabrblade wrote:Heh, Waspinator's got lots of redeco potential.Overcracker wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Bonus points if it's named Buzzbomb.Overcracker wrote:I wonder if Hasbro would be inclined to give us a Fox Kids repaint with the robot head, probably in Selects. Speaking of repaints, the 5-page preview for issue 2 of Wreckers has Leadfoot in it as a Kingdom Mirage repaint/new head retool. Considering how many other toy-accurate designs/character choices it has/allegedly has (Hot Shot, Ricochet, Knock Out, Road Rocket, Minerva, at least one of the Pretenders), I wonder if that'll amount to anything.

The Kingdom Mirage retool has yet to reveal its alternate head, so anything is possible I suppose.

It's only "working" because Target, Walmart and Amazon chartered their own fleats of cargo ships so they'd have fresh toy stock for Christmas. Having to go to those extremes means things are still very broken.

Finally got Waspinator and Shadow Panther today from Hasbro Pulse. I'm a little disappointed that Waspinator has a bit of a fiddly transformation. The legs don't really "tab" securely into the forearms in beast mode, nor do the forearms stay in place, even with the tiny pegs pushed into the holes of the inner "spine" piece. Is it a tolerance issue with the plastic used? Shadow Panther is great, but I knew I would love it because I already love the mold as Cheetor.

I got Waspinator yesterday and mine doesn't want to stay tabbed at the waist. Sounds like it might be a common problem. Otherwise it's a pretty good figure.

As for Shadow Panther, having Cheetor and Agent Ravage would logically make him redundant... But I want him anyway.

I got Waspinator today as well. Found a healthy supply of Waves 3 and 4 deluxes at a target on the way back from seeing a movie. Passed on Shadow Panther and Rhinox. No Tigatron yet. I actually had to go back and put the first Waspinator I grabbed back on the peg when I noticed the waist was untabbed and grabbed the other one. Came home, messed with it, and found out that's a pretty easy point of separation. Why universe hate Waspinator indeed.

I saw Waspy a few times last week, but kept passing. I have the T-30 version and all this feedback reinforces my decision to skip him in Kingdom.
Whew, for once I successfully resisted the pull of plastic crack.

Re: War for Cybertron Kingdom Discussion The Beasts Return!
Hmm, don't think those are stock images, Terrorsaur looks really mistransformed there. Hips in robot mode look way too skinny, and I'm pretty sure his legs should be further up the body in beast mode. It's like the person who transformed him didn't know what to do from the waist down.
Although this IS the first time I realized he comes with teeny tiny spikes to put on his arms in robot mode to look more like the show model. Wonder how those are supposed to store in beast mode.
Yeah, I also had to resist the pull. Have seen him in stores a few times, but the T30 version is still pretty great, the Kingdom version doesn't really seem like an improvement (and is a step back, in some ways). Same with Rhinox.

The robot waist tab doesn't seem to lock, but I don't know how that would be an issue unless you're trying to have him in-flight suspended by the torso instead of by the waist, but maybe I need to test that.
For the alt-mode, my arms lock securely and only pop out if I'm using too much force in the transformation. I can't tell if the top of the robot legs are locked to the abdomen, but the tabs in the lower legs don't seem to be designed to lock to the arms, just to slot in. At any rate, it took some fiddling, but my alt-mode is very secure, and I can handle the bug from any position and it stays in place.
