What are the TFs blood?

I was just wondering what TFs bleed. Is it oil, energon, or some thing that I thought I never heard of before but in fact have heard of it but forgot it due to unfortunate events? In some universes its purple (comics) and some its oil (Animated) and some its just sparks that turn into oil on contact with a surface (movies). So what is blood to a TF?

As mechanical beings, they probably have a few fluids throughout their bodies: fuel (Energon), lubricant (oil), and coolant at the very least.

no, otherwise the scene in the movie where bumblebee "pee's" on someone would have been brutal.

I don't think you'll be getting a definitive answer on this one! But the idea of multiple fluids makes the most sense as mammals have all sorts of things flowing inside.
Blood takes food and energy to the muscles so perhaps energon serves that purpose, but then maybe the energon is transported in a fluid. Or maybe the energy is transmitted by electricity through wires and they don't have liquid for blood at all. After all, if we built a robot it would work that way but then it wouldn't be alive. So who knows?

Well, if ya think about it, they all run on some sorta power source, like a battery. Energon isn't a liquid, but a form of pure energy. So my guess is energon is completely absorbed or broken down and stored like fat cells in some way or another, so i don't think there are veins or arteries transporting it as a liquid. Most likely wires that transport the energy from the receiver to the battery and then to various motors.
Coolant, oil, brake fluid, and hydraulic fluid are also must haves. They all have moving parts in robot mode and in car mode, so this makes coolant and oil a necessity. Brake fluid because they are using some sort of disc breaking mechanism. Hydraulic fluid because they have to have some sort of crazy piston/hydraulic system in place to have all of those moving parts and strength to walk, move their arms, etc.
Now it is reasonable to hypothetically theorize that all 4 of those fluids are most likely concentrated into 1 or 2 "super fluids" that serve as multipurpose fluids for the entire body to make them as easy to maintain as possible. Remember, in some continuity or another, the quintessons made these guys as laboring slaves, so it is logical that the initial design would have taken into regard building a worker that is as efficient as can be without requiring a whole lot of maintenance.

Oil. I think i said that. Yeah, probably grease too, but thats not really a leaking fluid, but more a gel thats put into joints.

Or at very least, it would have been worth watching, instead of just being dumb.
In the Megatron Origin comics, fallen Tranformers would often lie in a puddle of energon which had leeked from their wounds. Not saying that's a definative answer, just saying that it is an answer.

Re: What are the TFs blood?

The movie TF's were very organic-ish. I would suspect that in the movie-verse they had a nanite "cell" structure and biologically analogous systems. C'mon, they were hatching from "eggs!"
As for the toon-verse, there was more of the sense of built machines. There we would see pistons and gyros and such in the structure, with more mechanical fluids involved, like the ones we've mentioned.
I would posit two super-fluids for TF biology. A lubricant-and-coolant "oil" and a pressure-important fluid like brake fluid or hydraulic fluid. Either of these could also be a medium for energon distribution, or that could be a third system, or it could be carried in wires rather than as a fluid.

Yeah, and one of the ways they kept Megatron immobilized. Was sort of an important thing that they kept Megatron from runnin' amok.

But they ARE sentient beings. I think you mean organic beings.
This discussion couldn't come up with a definitive answer because it's all fiction, but it's fun to speculate. I think we've come up with the most logical explanation but as they're alien, maybe they work in a way we can't comprehend!

Even fiction needs to make sense. We know a few ways that matter becomes energy and some of the side effects. As metallic beings with "machinery" for organs, the problems and issues logically progress from that.
If I were to make up some strange and nonsensical process like "they bleed grape jelly" or "their brains are made of tiny men" are not going to get much respect.
