I'm not a G1 purist. The BW show was cool, aside from Dinobot, the toys are just crap.

How can that be you say? Opinions are sacred cows not to be judged according to their support, intent, and general relevance!

Well chief, it breaks down like this; the Beast Wars toy line has literally hundreds of released toys. If indeed, they were all crap, well I think it woudl be safe to assume that a general animosity towards the line, show, and future releases would exist.

Surprisingly though, many people, myself included, view at least one, if not several of these toys as outstanding.

I'll stop here and challenge you to explain the 'crappiness' of this toy:

I have rarely met anyone who detested the Beast Wars toys of late, so this debate/Discussion.. I really find on one point entertaining and on another, a real interesting subject...

i'd really like to hear bookofjunon's reasons for why the toys suck... :-?

They just suck, it's called an opinion. And in my opinion they suck. It is impossible for my opinion on what I think of a line of toys to be wrong.

I agree with you Skywarp about Hasbro/Takara's unusual scale for characters at times. Beast Wars for the most part was no where near as bad as G1 was when it came to scale though. I still find it hilarious that Blaster is 2 or 3 times bigger than Prime and way bigger than most cars in alt mode. That must be one big ass radio.
