I never would have thought to connect the hands to the sawblade mechanizm. I think green, black, and a little yellow is what I'm going to use. Gryph will have purple, black, and some yellow. The yellow is going to be minor, and mainly to break up the colors a little. Being "twins", having similar color schemes will compliment each other. They'll look like a team.

You do realize after it's done I'm going to have to buy it.

Seeing this is getting me hyped about doing my first custom.

Anyone can fill me in where that big-ass gun will be mounted?

He's got it in his hand in the first pic.

I just did a quick sketch to use as a color guide. Depending on how many ideas I have, I'll post pics between now and wednesday.

I agree, I'd like to color him kinda like a regular tank, different green tones, plus black and grey with some yellow highlights will do the work.

Finally got round to inking Deceptor's robot modes, big and small (sorry for the slowness of this Ra88 - I've got yet another paid commission going on at the same time).

Going to continue work on Deceptor somewhere next week. I have to clean the final messes of school up (didn't manage to get my grades up, so it's Havo 4 for me again next year ) this week, and I've got a bunch of other stuff to do as well.

More pics of Panzer showing some more work I did.

You can see the new visor, that togheter with the head gear forms a removable piece. I also added the legs' mini cannons that came from a pair of knock-off micromaster Bombshocks.

There are also some pics to better show the connection of the big gun in both modes.

He doesn't have the same head - poor marks for observation, see me after class! His new head is more accuarate to your figure thanks to the more recent photos (although the structure in the centre of his forehead needs some minor alteration - something I'll fix before I colour him)

Here's the color scheme I came up with. I think it works pretty well. I left out the missle launchers because I wasn't sure if they were done or not. Probably should have asked about that first. lol The main turret should be green, along with the gun. Keep the treads the way they are. I think they look fine.

BTW, this pic blows because I did it in a couple minutes. lol

Edit: I forgot about the side turrets!
Repaint the silver parts green, along with the turrets. I'll let you decide what to do with the launchers since you came up with those. I can't think about what to do with the big panels on the front of the tank mode. Do you think they should be green to blend in or grey to stand out?

I like the general color scheme, though I may be making some modifications to make it more interesting.

I still have some minor things to work out with the kitbashing (and I need to get some paints ) so it may take me a couple of weeks to start with the painting.

It took two afternoons of prying apart but i finally disasembled energon ravage (note to others- you aparently need to take the grey piece of the toy apart first. the swivel from the black groin area is inside it)

I have the legs connections in place now and will post a pic tommorow hopefully. Just have to find a way to get that darned head off. (no sodering iron at home or money for one for that matter )

Do you have a hot glue gun? Would a curling iron holding a pin transfer enough heat?

I may have a glue gun somewhere. Good idea, I'll have to try that.

RHansen, what are you gonna do with Geostigma's team their altmodes?
A combiner within Transtopians would kick ass. Will he be used against the con invasion?

ya they are all going to have seperate cybertronian assault type alt modes. Overshot is just drying right now so hes pretty much done, just detail paint to put on him before i make some pics up and such. And for their bio and story, I havent completely thought it all out yet, I might need some help on that one :p
