Wow. Game time seems to dip this time of year. Okay, time to double-post.
*Locust attempts to disarm the double-post triggers, only to find that they had rusted over 3 weeks ago.*
Okay that was easy.
*A spring comes loose and lodges itself in Locust's left nostril.*
ow...
Tekken Tag Tournament 2
From where I left off, beat the game with all remaining characters. All endings unlocked.
Loved the game but I'm done with it. I will say that having to identify Mokujin's current moveset by fighting stance is really hard. At least in Soul Calibur, the copy character has a weapon visible. But that's really my only gripe. First tekken game I ever played and I really enjoyed it.
Far cry 3
GAME.BEATEN!
Will avoid spoilers and just say that while the endings were weak, the game itself is awesome. Haven't enjoyed a sandbox this much since skyrim.
all relics, letters, memory cards radio towers, and outposts accounted for.
castlevania: The Adventure Rebirth
Finally decided to put some time into this. Let it be known that I suck at these games because I spent over 8 hours trying to beat an 6-level platformer. How's that for nostaliga for the days of the NES.

Borderlands 2:
I got Krieg about halfway to level 49 which is nice. But the really nice part is that I've found three Orange items in the past day; The Cradle, Hellfire, and Bonus package. The most Legendary items I've ever found in a 24-hour period.

Pretty neat I guess. Dont know why these random asshats are killing everyone though. Also, the AI voice is navi levels of annoying, the lack of knowing were the hell to go at any given time is grating, and the constant backtracking and fetching this to kill this is pretty repetitive, just like the gameplay and enemy variety...
I stll like it for some reason though. And I hear The Second Runner makes the monotony worth it, so I guess Im all in.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
I was renting it, so no war machines or special armor sadly, but I enjoyed what I got out of it. Accept maybe the ending. That made NO sense. I didn't catch every word hologram lady said, but seriously what the hell?
And were did Cesare get his army to suddenly attack out of nowhere? And how did he escape? Im a tad confused.

Well obviously. But it's a Legendary so I count it as a win.

The voice acting in the sequel isn't better, (Largely due to a poorly-translated script) but the gameplay is vastly superior.

I don't know why I keep buying what is essentially the same cast of characters in the same story, over and over again. That said, the new gameplay with the 3 different elemental afinities is fun, and makes things far less repetitive. You now actually have a reason to switch weapons.
Anyways, just defeated the Yuan Brothers level for the Wei faction.

I decided to give Borderlands 2 another chance, it's not as bad as I originally said, its not the best game but it's not as bad as FoC MP.

What, FoC MP? Why not Daikatana or Duke Nukem Forever? Something that's actually godawful. Comparing it to FoC MP isn't actually that bad.
Borderlands 2:
Finished Assault on Dragon's Keep as Gaige on TVHM and--okay, seriously? I found the Flakker. Is there like an increased drop chance event going on? That's four oranges in two days.

I thought that FoC MP sucked, and was very boring, but I probably could've thought of a much worse game if I would have thought hard enough.

Buttstallion has a 75% chance or something like that to poop out a legendary if the handsome sorcerer doesn't drop one Ive gotten 6 from her already. Plus the enemies in Assault all seem to have increased drop rates for generally good loot.
Krieg has increased drop rates, Ive gotten triple the legendaries out of him on 1 playthrough than my 2 1/2 playthroughs with Zer0 and 2 playthroughs with Axton. Everyone else? None.
Tack on the vault hunter relic and its hard to get bad weapons with him. Gearbox's gift to a bitchy fandom I suppose.

Spec Ops: The Line
Hard to describe without spoilers, but let's just say I survived the Freebird run. Anyone who played this will get that.
CastleVania: Judgement
Now that Tekken's done, moving to a less polished fighting game.
Beaten with Simon, Alucard, Grant, Sypha, Carmilla, Golem, Maria, and Eric.
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance
Finally got back into this. Met death for the second time but he jumped into a portal and locked the door behind him. I now have a double-jump ability, the green stone, the wind book, and guardian armor. Just worked my way back to the beginning of the game so I can explore and get some items that were previously out of reach (ah, MetroidVania)

Disarmed all the bombs and went on to finish Neith. I cant seem to ascertain her motives besides "I wanna die but I dont but I do".
and then Anubis shows up. Ok, Im going to say it. Bladewolf is based off of Anubis' design. Or rather, he homages it to a point. Im not jumping to any conclusions by asking if this and MGS are in the same universe, am I? I mean, Sunny did say she wanted to make it to jupiter before hal died. Just coincidence, but I want to believe...

It's Kojima, he's just weird like that.
Borderlands 2:
So...yeaaaaah...funny story. See, my dad got a shiny new computer, and I got his old one. his old one is substantially better than my old one. And then a friend of mine got me the PC version of Borderlands 2, since he always wanted for us to play together.
So that happened.
Bought Gaige (No, I have NO idea how I'm going about re-buying the DLC) and got her up to level 15. About to go meet Tiny Tina out at Tundra Express.

After discovering World of Warcraft in 2007, I lost interest in everry other video game in existence.

And everything else, for that matter.
That being said, I'm a badass Paladin, with a badass sword, and badass damage dealing, who, every day, without remorse, goes out into the world, and, since I'm very good at it, and since I'm well know with many a faction, I dawn my armor, made by the mightiest of blacksmiths, and enchanted by the most knowledgeable of enchanters, and....I plant flowers in my garden.
Then I play some sort of pokemon rip off and it gives me the experience I need to kill dragons, god, and titans. It just works, trust me.

Add Cornell, Trevor, and Death to my 'done' list.
Spec ops: the line
Finished the game. Felt like a bad person for not feeling like a bad person on the final reveal and understanding of the game's narrative. Neat.
Darksiders II
Started the game and found myself trapped on the world of the makers. Unlocked the cauldron but now need to release the tears of the stonefather.

Finished with Shanoa and Dracula, thus unlocking 'true story mode', which actually has an ending.
Yeah... bit of a dick move by the developers but I'll roll with it.
Beat 'true story' with Simon and Alucard. Final boss power attacks are fittingly fear-inducing.
CastleVania: Harmony of Dissonance
Went in circles trying to figure out how to proceed after Death locked the door behind him. News flash: Door wasn't locked.
Played mini-golf using a giant hammer and an armor knight to break down a wall. Found a power that allows me to break down partially damaged walls, which I've been running into since 5 minutes in. Cool.

Well, ideally, it would go a helluva lot better than when it initially launched...
Borderlands 2:
At level 32, a friend duped me a Conference Call for that level. Funny story, he found it after beating the Warrior. Before I explained that the Warrior could be fought multiple times. Yeah, it dropped for him on his first try, how messed up is that? Lucky SOB. Still, we all hold dear the ideal of duping guns for the greater good, so he was more than eager to dupe it for the rest of us. I respeced Gaige to have Anarchy and Discord, while retaining Close Enough, so now I am once again the destroyer of worlds. ANARCHY FOREVER!

I just got this for my playstation. I didn't start it up yet. I'm going to download the dlc before I start it. I'll let you know how it goes after an hour.
Well, ideally, it would go a helluva lot better than when it initially launched...
Got any tips?
When the game initially launched, it was buggy as hell, ten times so on PS3. They've patched the living hell out of it since then, but the issue with games like this is that it's not always possible to fixed every single bug.
Unless you mean in terms of how to go about combat, in which case, that all depend on your playstyle. I'm more of an up-close-and-personal type of warrior.

Like shadowman, Im a daedric armor-roided, mace swinging, arrow flinging, shield bashing motherf*cker who rapes ancient dragons with his bare hands. Its certainly easier than casting spells. Lately though, ive been mixing up my magic and warrior skills with devestating results. Example:
Today I led a few bandits into a troll cave by running into their tower and decapitating one , then let loose a fire daedra after hoarding the five or so near a cliff. While they were busy I snuck around and used unrelenting force and they all flew off the cliffside. It was hilariously gratifying.
As far as tips? Well, start off as a warrior class. Then work your way into other trees. Be careful on what you spend your perks on, and set an overall goal, how you picture yourself later in the game. Use that as a template, and build a foundation. Skyrim is large, and theres alot of **** to do. I recommend becoming a werewolf asap, but other than that? Just keep your future self in mind.

I don't even do Daedric Armor, I've switched over to Dragonplate. I'm well past the 567 limit. (Fun fact, an armor rating higher than 567 is superfluous, as the game won't give any damage reduction past that; 568 and 1000 are effectively the same armor rating) Add to that my bitchin' Dragonbone Sword, Shield, and Battleaxe, and even the Daedric Princes think twice before standing against me.
This isn't really related to anything, but selling Steam Trading Cards is awesome. I made like $1.50 selling off all the ones I had in my inventory. Bought the Mechromancer Steampunk skin with it. Now I'm reinstalling every game I have that has trading cards. You know, not even a week ago, I thought Steam Trading Cards were stupid and pointless. Since I'm actually making money off of them, I've totally changed my mind here.

To each their own. I did my best to level up my character's warrior, rogue, mage stats evenly so that I had a variety of ways to approach each problem.
That said, one tip I found useful was to find ways to level up skills simultaneously. Once I found the bound sword skill, I ditched 'real' weapons for a while and went dual-weilding with my construct swords. In the process, maxed out conjuration at the same time as my two-handed skills.
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.

Oh, Bound Sword is made of chocolate-coated win. I actually do have a mage, and if I need to kill something in melee, Bound Sword always does the trick. Plus Serana, Barbas (He's a pain, pushing me around, but he's invincible and powerful so he makes for a damn good tank) my Flame Atronach (I could go Frost or Storm, but they're not as...ah, curvy) and whatever Serana tends to resurrect.
Ooh, like that one time she resurrected a Conjurer, and the Conjurer summoned a wolf-ghost thing. Had a team of seven people. Good times.
Other protip: If you want a follower, do the Dawnguard missions long enough to get Serana as a follower. Nothing beats a hot, snarky vampire chick.

I'll take these into consideration. The dragonborn dlc is almost finished so I'm about to start this. I'll let you know what I picked and such and what happened tomorrow.
