How to deal with a stripped screw head?

I'm working on my very first customized figure, a repaint of TFA Electrostatic Soundwave...the only problem is one of the screws on his legs is COMPLETELY stripped. I would normally just leave it, and mask off the stuff that's not going to be spraypainted really REALLY well, but it's the screw that I need to undo to swap his mis-assembled legs. Is there any technique for unscrewing a screw like this?

Awesome! Thanks - some of the solutions won't work because the screw is down a deep hole in the plastic, but I'm definitely going to try the rubber band trick tonight, and if that doesn't work hit up the hardware store for a screw extractor.
