Movies you are alone in liking
Haha, had to do the relative of the other topic "Movies you are alone in disliking."
That being said what movies are you alone in liking?
I have a list, reasons with some-
-Mission:Impossible-III
-Armageddon
-The One
-Pirates of the Carribbean: At World's End
-Austin Powers in Goldmember
-King Kong( 1976)
-Jaws 2
-Fast & The Furrious: Tokyo Drift: Truth be told it's the only one in the trilgoy that I like.
-Hook
-Scary Movie 3
-Superhero Movie: Oh come on! It was a good superhero parody.
-Lost World: Jurassic Park
-Air Force One: You have Harrison Ford as The President, Gary Oldman as the bad guy, it's an action movie done by Wolfgnag Peterson, what's not to like?
-Amistad
-Spawn: I thought it was a good effort at making the comic into a PG-13 film whcih Todd McFarlane wanted it to be so kids could get into the character and thus buy more merchandise. It was fast paced excitement from beginning to end, plus it at least tried to be dark.
-Transformers( 2007): The hate for this movie sometimes makes me question the good in being a TF fan, but relax guys I'm not talking about those who hate the movie and express reasons why on this very site, no not at all, you guys are cool. I am referring to some of the ones over on IMDb, ones who are, shall we say, little too extreme for some words? Goodness I have many stories both prior and after TF was released! But that's a different story for another time...
-Smokin' Aces: Don't get me wrong, it is a tad dissapointing but alright for a wednesday night movie.
-The Faculty
-Dracula 2000: B movie through and through, and Gerard Butler did a good as job the count.
-Jason X
-Space Jam: Well not alone actually but online sure. It is true that Looney Tunes: Back in Action is the superior Looney Tunes feature film but Space Jam has always been a favorite of mine since I was a kid, still is by the way since I watched it last night and still do dig it. I've tried to hate it but still like it. It may be all one big commercial, but I like it. Soundtrack was top notch as well.
-ID4: Same as Space Jam, not alone here but online, yeah. Quite surprised to see many hate for it on the net.
-Vantage Point-It was rather decent.
-Twister
-Super Mario Bros.-No I've never played a Mario game so the changes didn't bother me. I foudn it to be enjoyable and the thought the plot was original along with being quite a creative film in all technical aspects and humor.
-The Bad Boys movies
-The Rush Hour films
-The Island
-A Good Year
-The Day After Tomorrow: As many flaws as there are, I enjoyed it though the characters were a tad boring and was a little lost after the storm had happened in New York.
-Terminator 3
-Shooter
-Leathal Weapon 3 and 4
-Swordfish
-Doomsday: Has god homages and has the original model for Lara Croft in there giving the whole tough girl thing a good name.
-The Flintstones( 1994)
-Street Fighter: Like Mario didn't play the games only watched the anime. At first I hated it but after some rewatchings, I got used to it and began to like it.
-Con Air
Well...The list goes on and on as you can see.

Doom--I played the games, and I liked the movie. I might as well have divided by zero.
Super Mario Bros.--The same as above
Godzilla '97--I had no prior experience to Godzilla, so this kind of ruined the past forty years or so for me.
Tomb Raider--Though there were probably a million women more suited to playing Lara than Angelina Jolie (I.e. actually British, among *ahem* other things), but I still really liked the movies.
DareDevil--You heard me.
Hulk--It had a couple of problems, but I liked this movie anyway.
Alien vs. Predator--...I can't really explain this one.

I have a fondness for all 3. Popcorn munchers are a class all their own.
Punisher- dark, no special effects, and, save for the giant flaming skull in the parking lot), very "real"
Scary movie 3- I found this to be incredibly funny.
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.

Red Violin, Sam Jackson in an auction for a centuries old violin, and the story of it's travels in the eyes of fortune teller in old Italy. Each segment told in a different part of the world, and screw the idea of translation.
Death to Smoochie, I know it has some fans here, but I only know one or two people in everyday life that even get it!
I could go on, but I gotta tend to the stove so lastly
City of Lost Children, and Mary Shelley's Frankenstien, Ghost Rider, and both Fantastic 4s.

Doom
The Punisher (2004)- He's my favorite Marvel character
Beavis and Butt-head Do America- I grew up in the '90s and these guys were all the rage on MTV.
Daredevil
Both Fantastic 4's
Phonebooth-Colin Farrell is a smug PR guy who finds himself the target of a sniper played by Kiefer(sp?) Sutherland.
Underworld & Underworld: Evolution- Because Kate Beckinsale happens to be smokin' hot in those films.
Road to Perdition- I really liked Tom Hanks' character in this film
...That's about all I can think of at the moment, if I come up with any more I will add to this list.

I pretty much thought so...thanks.
On topic now...
"Toys" Robin Williams
A bizarre comedy that bombed at the box office but I found it's obscure campy comedy great...you can't go wrong with mayo and vitamin sandwiches for lunch and what small army isn't complete without the "Sea swines" "Tommy tanks" and "Hurley burley helicopters"
"Tank Girl" Laurie Petty, Malcolm Mcdowell and "Ice Tea" Based on a graphic novel and cartoon strip this bizarre setting in the near future after a comet has really messed up the earth and it's mostly a desert now and lawlessness rules the lands with mutant half man half kangaroo people and lots of other nutty characters
"The chronicles of Riddick" Vin Diesel
The sequel to the sleeper hit "Pitch Black"...The Chronicles of Riddick featured great special effects and a rather well drawn out character and story arc with a rather interesting invading "alien" force...I've watched it several times on dvd and like it a lot.
"Dark City" Keiffer Sutherland
A town set in the 1940's or 50's experiences darkness eternally and all the citizens are put to sleep every night at midnight and their memories and lives are extremely altered or manipulated even the town itself is restructured from night to night by it's evil overseers to try and change the human will, sounds cliche in a way but I thought it was very underrated.

Aha! More of them that I just thought of
Se7en- Morgan Freeman+Kevin Spacey=EPIC WIN!
Snakes on a Plane- I actually thought this movie was enjoyable and funny as hell to boot!
The Rocketeer- It was the first Disney film that I remember seeing in theaters, so it is easily my favorite Disney movie, and it had a great story. And Jennifer Connelly=GORGEOUS
Equilibrium- Straight to DVD, featured Christian Bale, Sean Bean, and Taye Diggs as cops in a futuristic utopia where emotion is outlawed. Severely underrated and one of my favorite Sci-Fi movies.
Constantine- Keanu Reeves played the part of John Constantine in this big screen adaptation of the "John Constantine: Hellblazer" graphic Novel series, and I felt it was a fairly solid movie with some solid acting.
The Alamo- Not a big Billy Bob Thornton fan, but I really felt he was the right choice to play the role of Sen. David "Davy" Crockett, I also liked whoever it was in that movie that played Jim Bowie.

Did it make it to theaters? I'm not sure, I had never heard of it until like 4 years ago. But I bought it, watched it, loved it!

"St. Elmo's Fire" & "About Last Night" - Both fall in the same category. I love the 'Brat Pack', even if no one else does.
"Alien 3" - Granted, I mean the director's cut, but still, this is definately an enjoyable movie.
"Baraka" - I am possibly the only person on Earth other than Ron Friedman who doesn't think that this film is a pretentious pile of wank. Then again, I'm not 100% sure he doesn't think so.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX!?
There are quite a few movies in members lists that are liked by many..
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Guildenstern and Rozencrantz are dead. It's an oldish movie and rather obscure. It's a spin off of hamlet and is based off the travels of two of hamlets minor characters.

"We, Decepticons, are a swell bunch. And boy do we have fun." - Starscream
"You're one of...those, Never understood why any self respecting Decepticon would choose auto-mobile as his vehicle mode when he could have flight." - Starscream
"For a guy hearing voices of the dead, you've got a pretty insensitive view of Mental Health" - Bumblebee

I'm not sure if anyone would be alone in liking Snakes on a Plane, Harold and Kumar, Seven, and Equilibrium. And even though TF2007's audience is split, a movie that made more than $700 million doesn't belong on this list either.
For my list: Doom, Event Horizon (though I'm not sure that really belongs on the list anymore--one of those movies with a growing cult following), Judgment Night, S.F.W., Spider-Man 3 (yeah, it was the worst, but still cool), Pluto Nash, the Pick of Destiny, Leonard Part 6, Alien3, and Last Action Hero.
I didn't like Battlefield Earth, but I didn't hate it enough to put it on the worst movies list.

Issue 2: Home Sweet Home Invasion also for sale.
Back issue 3: Technophobia coming soon. And you can help!

Se7en- Morgan Freeman+Kevin Spacey=EPIC WIN!
These three movies are liked by a ton of people so I dunno why they're on your list.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX!?
Well then, I guess you guys can disregard them then.

Allow me to take off those three movies that Iron-Man pointed out have many fans, and replace them with others.
Grizzly Man- Documentary about Timothy Treadwell. Directed and narrated by Werner Herzog. I really liked this movie and the scenery was breathtaking.
Flyboys- I really liked this film, despite the fact that James Franco is somewhat of a pretty-boy I really thought his acting was good in this film.
Windtalkers- Yeah, that's right, Windtalkers. The one that had Nicolas Cage as a troubled sergeant who was assigned to the new Navajo Code Talking Program.

Windtalkers huh? I liked that movie as well, it's not the best war movie ever that's for sure but it does well as an action flikc to say the least.
Speaking of action, here's another one that I liked-Action Jackson with Carl Weathers.

The Labyrinth, the Eric Bana version of the Hulk.
Must be because Jennifer Connely is in both!
Oh and The Shadow
