I do love that they have gotten film actors to reprise their roles on Rebels. Show is pretty solid to.
I'm really at a weird place with my feelings for the franchise. I love it, but the whole EU reboot is just so bittersweet. I loved both The Force Awakens and Rogue One, and some of the other tie ins are phenomenal, but having stuff like Rogue Squadron and the Solo kids which I loved now just non cannon....
Admittedly, I'd been hating the general direction of the old Legends EU for a good while.

I'm pretty disappointed with this current season, I'm just not into it like I have been in previous seasons.

Don't worry, you're not alone there.
At least we got Thrawn in Rebels, though Tie Defenders appearing is a hard pill to swallow, given that they're supposed to be so incredibly advanced, but this is set before A New Hope.

Yeah, would have been better to just use the Interceptor or Advanced. And the Rebels allready having A-Wings bugs me to.

I wonder if the Loth Wolf is Ahsoka Tano

They've been refuting that theory for a while.
Still possible I suppose.

So after this weeks episode, I have to wonder if I've been a bit too harsh on them ignoring the EU and screwing up the tine lines (though nothing forgives the A-Wings)
Thrawn, as we know from the EU, returns to the Unknown Regions, what if his (inevitable) failure at Lothal is the trigger for him to return to the Unknown Regions, taking the development of the Tie Defender with him?

Reet! let's talk some Star Wars
soooo...the ASSEMBLY CUT was 3hrs 20min but has obviously been cut down for the Theatrical release since then and there's no Dir Cut happening!
hmmm...interesting! so there was a large scene with Rey cut out of the film which thankfully will end up on the Blu Ray deleted scenes section(as well as many other deleted scenes that Rian stated in the previous video)
hmm...also interesting! some scenes of hers have been cut out of the movie too(which again will be available to see on the Blu Ray deleted scenes section)

I have been contemplating picking up Thrawn. The rise and evolution of the Sith intrigues me. But I don't know any background info, so I'm not sure if I would understand what's going on in the book.itscramtastic wrote:So..anyone else read Phasma? I liked it.

I wouldn't mind reading the new Thrawn book too! I remember reading the old Thrawn-centric books that are now "Legend". Finished Bloodline and picked up The Legends of Luke Skywalker. Haven't started that yet, hope to get through most of it before next Friday at least!! Still haven't read Ahsoka, and I'm 8 episodes in to season 2 of Rebels. I already know what happens with Season 2 and 3, but I still like watching it!Ironhidensh wrote:Thrawn is not about the sith, but it is a great book.Rodimus Prime wrote:I have been contemplating picking up Thrawn. Naw. He just embraces the fact that you can't know the Force if you don't accept that there is light and dark and you can use both to maintain "balance".Stuartmaximus wrote:Luke Turns Evil!

Hey y'all!
So I've been on a long break from Star Wars, but it was my first love when it comes to all things sci-fi action adventure. I stopped collecting the toys around 3D Clone Wars cartoon, but kept going on Transformers. I swore I would hang up that hat for good. But never say never, right?
I decided to try out a LEGO Buildable K2SO. I fell back down the rabbit hole hard.
Luckily all the Rogue One and Force Awabrahms 3.75 toys were on clearance about the time I fell.
But let's just say, I'm back in, and back in hard.
Anywho, just thought I'd drop anchor in here, 'cause I feel like talking and thinking about the ol' girl (Star Wars) again.

Nice article!Burn wrote:The reality of a lightsaber
Tangent, but related to the article info: How about that one time on Venture Bros when the Monarchs' henchmen bought what they thought was a real lightsaber, yet objects passed through it because it was just made of light!!

Cold days like today make taking a Mag Lite outside at night fun. Just breathe out some hot air while the light is on and boom! Lightsaber!
Another tangent: What sabers you kids be rockin'? I have two of the old Master Replicas sabers from 2005. One Anakin from Revenge of the Sith and one Luke from Return of the Jedi. I've always wanted a custom one, or even the amazing ones crafted by FX-Sabers.
Also, WHATUP COBOTRON!!
