I saw that post before the edit and erase . But since he took the effort to removed it, I'll just keep it to myself . But yeah a remove own post option would be great.

Ah yes, the usual suspects.
It does get pretty tedious when one has to plough through a page or two when fellow Transformers fans decide to bring the thread down with their own shortcomings.
Why cant everyone just love each other?

On topic: This take on Alpha Trion is looking better and better with each photo but this will have to be after Christmas for me. Only 5 weeks to go!!

I kind of got the feeling it was a blatant pot shot since it was directly under my comment, but then he changed his mind. All I did was ask if there was a confirmed release date yet ? Im not sure how an insult was warrented for asking that...

that jet mode thing looks a lot better in these pics. reminds me of G1 scourge, its just some strange alien lookin... thing

That spaceship mode reminds me of the Macross a bit...

Just use the line of characters after v= in the link. In this case, I also had to remove the embed code starting with & to the end. Once you have just the line of characters after v=, put the youtube tags around it. (You can quote this message to see the coding.)

Now, on to watching the video...

[Edit] Watched most of the video. Yeah, I'm happy with this guy. Love that he transforms. Love the Macross/Robotech-esque cruiser mode. Yeah, he's expensive, but I'll splurge for a couple of figures like this. Nice work!

Well I didnt expect anything negative from peaugh. He probably sold a few figures to the skeptics. But I knew this figure was going to be awesome from day one when I preordered. Im happy the silly matrix thing comes off but he looks naked without it. It would be nice if someone can make a replacement piece for his chest with an autobot logo.

Same here, pal. Can't wait to get my notice from tfsource. I know he's quite pricey for a deluxe, but every once in a while (as was mentioned a few posts above) something like this is worth it for me. Looks like we might receive him by the time Chinese New Year rolls along...*crosses fingers*. Even if Has-Tak does make a transformable A3 down the road, I will still have no regrets.

Think Not having the glasses, Mustache and beard coming off to do a A-3 makes no sense as their clip on parts. Gluing them in place and not doing underneath A-3 facial details was a missed opportunity here. Another missed opportunity was not having a different set of robot armor. That could have moved around a bit to do a A-3 into Alpha Trion conversion.

And.......aside from the original Artstorm non transforming fig, the young A-3 mode didn't actually transform. He started looking like this (sans the beard) until he was waaaaaaaaay into his more mature Wardawn incarnation.

The original inhabitants of Cybertron didn't transform. They only started transforming as seen in the 5 Faces of Darkness during the 1st Autobot/Decepticon Civil War (i.e. transformation was developed by the Consumer Goods /Autobots (?) as a means to make up for the tactical disadvantage they had against the Military/Decepticons (?))if you want to follow that reality route.

Not having an A3 mode is a missed opportunity, but that's all it is. I love what I'm seeing here. I believe AoE Prime is taller than Classics Voyager prime, so this may stand next to him even better.

Looking at some clips, it's possible that he was meant to be as tall as Prime, but the classics series has never achieved perfect scale. So, wherever.

You guys are missing the point I was trying to make. Perhaps it's my fault as I needed to explain it better.

Think, That face is ugly and weird looking. The seperate molded face parts that were glued on just ruin the face and make it look like a cheaply made Hasbro MR Potato head clip on kit.

Think the clip on glued face parts make no sense as their is no A-3 to Alpha Trion conversion. Would have looked better and less weird if they just used one plastic mold part for the entire face with all the facial details one it.

Botcon Alpha Trion is a good example of a beautiful non weird looking face sculpt. This AFT-07 is the oppossite of that.

You are correct. I happen to have both of them accessible. Tatanian Saint should scale nicely with classics Prime. The elder will be slightly shorter than the iconic warrior he created. I don't see anything wrong with that.



It will definitely scale better than this Alpha Trion.



On a side note, an A-3 with 2 holes on his face to plug in facial hair would not be very good looking.

BBTS. It seems they often get smaller shipments first to fill the earliest pre orders first. Then the big shipment comes in a week later and the product is listed as in stock. This also happened to me with FP Cubrar. You know I always pre order early.
