All movies - chronological order history

Postby Deathastator2212 » Thu Dec 01, 2011 11:01 am

I have a question concerning the history of Cybertron and the intro's of all movies...

Is this the right order the following events happened?

An unknown cube from space crashes on a planet and created life; autonomous robotic organisms called Transformers. (See TF 1)

Solar-energy-converting machine is built on Earth. War breaks loose between Fallen and the Primes. The Primes hide the matrix and themselves. The Fallen escapes to a moon of Jupiter where he has a large hive of baby-Decepticons. (see ROTF)

War breaks loose between the Autobots and the Decepticons because Megatron want to own the cube to create an army of Decepticons. (see TF 1)

The cube is send into space and coincidentilly crashes onto the same planet where the Prime built the solarmachine, namely Earth. (see TF1)

Sentinel Prime tries to escape from Cybertron, taking with him the spacebridge technology.
see DOTM))

Megatron is going after the cube,...on his own and Starscream becomes 2nd in command.

* * * * * Skipping a few 1000nds of years.* * * * *

Megatron and the Cube are found and taken to America where a dam is built to create the energy to keep Megs frozen. (see TF 1)

Sentinel didn't complete this mission quite right...His ships was half blown up and what was left of it (coincidentilly) crashed on the moon in our 1960's.

Unknown to the Aubots Sentinel Prime betrayed them and was secretly working together with Megatron. An army of Decepticons was send to the moon to hide under the surface of the moon to recover the pilars but couldn't find them all. (see DOTM)

Bumblebee and several Decepticons reach Earth to find the cube.

Soon after the first movie starts...
********************************************************************************************

What I DO understand is that Megatron knew about Earth through the Fallen. He send Sentinel purposely to Earth to get another chance of finding the Primes and the Matrix for activating the solar machine. He prably also send an army of Decepticons to follow Sentinel/the Ark in order to fullfill the mission.

What I do not see is the following: The cube was send into space around the same time Sentinel "left", but the cube got to Earth much earlier? And since Megs was going after it, he didn't see the Ark slowly moving towards Earth?

And...as Prime states in the 3rd movie..."our defeat was all but certain." What is the point of sending an armada to a unknown planet when you're on the verge of total (Decepticon) victory? Why not destroy the Autobots first, only to recover the matrix and the cube soonafter? Megatron probaly got his orders from the Fallen all the time, but then...what was his point?

The Allspark crashed on the earth. Megatron came to earth looking for it, and Sentinel came after.

Also, both the AllSpark and the Ark ending up at the Earth was not a coincidence. The AllSpark, being the vessel of both Cybertronian life and their entire history, had records of Earth's location and purposefully traveled towards it, because it used to be a TF colony.

Sentinel's ship was damaged, but still able to slowly drift towards its destination, Due to the extensive damage, it couldn't evade the moon and crashed.

Just accept that the Bayformers timeline makes no sense as a result of Orci and Kurtzman having no grasp of story structure or plausibility.
I do not blame Michael Bay for crapping all over a huge part of my childhood. He just directed the scripts that were given to him. I blame Orci, Kurtzman, and Krueger, who seem completely incapable of concocting a story that even halfway makes sense.
