Because I'm a hater (and a completist).

Everyone, bought at MSRP, in the store.

You're an animal!

I only ever really considered buying 2 of Jazz (For the Repro label set).

In one of the most honest things I can say about the Alt line, I'd have to say that I care very little for it. Like artwork you can appreciate and value, but never really be attached to in any emotional way, that's how I see the line.

No story, fragile, and worst of all, tedious, yet somehow, necessary. To me, this line rounds out the MP line. If Alternators had not existed, I might never have bothered with Masterpieces. Together, they both become worthwhile investments (in space, not money).

As a collector of original comic art I can agree with this statement 100%. BT/Alternators are indeed like art and to me they will be transformed maybe once, displayed and never messed with again. I love every single one but not in the sense that they are toys, only in that they are very pleasing to the eye and marvels of engineering.

I think I'd rather buy them of you guys and ebay than give them the satisfaction!

Yeah, I repro-d my open Jazz. That set is great! I've also bought the Predacon sets to get more 'Cons in the lineup!

See, I never saw Decepticharge and Camshaft in stores. Saw plenty of their case assortment cohorts though... Not the case with Swerve, I found him a week or so before Botcon last year at TRU. I'm glad I picked him up before the Dealer Locusts swarmed the place.

Edit: In my defense, I bought three of them when they were unwanted more than rare. You should see my Skids collection.

UPDATE : september 19th

Loose alternators available, might be interesting if you're not a MISB. Check'em out. And I hope that you had a chance to grab a SDCC Rodimus, as he's now at $79,99!!! Twice his original price. If you do have one, don't open him !

All the alts that were available were loose. When you click on one, you have 2 appearing. First one is the MISB(sold out) and you have the loose one in green right under it. When I first updated, there were 7 Alts available. All loose. Sure they're gonna sold out fast.

Yeah BBTS is overpricing alot. Not the best place to buy really, but they do have some more regular restock than others.

I should cry louder on Wheeljack/Shockblast, they were available at the time and I even added them to my shopping cart. Sigh...

Anyway, I think I will smile in my dreams tonight. *Wink*

Cheers!

Its still a pretty damn good haul you got there. And yeah decepticharge is not an Alternator I want. Just like windcharger. They have a ''gun'', but no barrel. Unlike their Binaltech big brothers... So I would avoid buying the Alt version of those 2 really. Get the Binaltech instead. The gun is the best in the Alternator line.

The only Alts I have are Rumble and Jaguar Ravage, though Swindle has
caught my eye...is he worth BBTS's asking price? ($39.99)

In my opinion, not really... I have Rollbar (repaint), and althought the mold is great, its not worth $40. Try shopping a little more before buying it at $40.

You could always buy the original, Hound, who is currently listed at $24.99?

Weapon: Switch Blade Tail
That's absolutely hilarious.

Rumble
Nemesis Prime
Battle Ravage...the only ones left in stock. Goes to show you what people think of those molds, eh?

'tis a shame. The Prime mold's not perfect, but not bad. Rumble's another unloved gem.

Well, You can find Nemesis Prime on other sites for $60 instead of $70. And you can find Rumble for $30 instead of $40. So there you go. They're asking too much for those. BBTS is a good store, but not the best. They have alot of restocks but price wise, they're not the best really.

And now, SDCC Rodimus is at $80!! 80!! He was at $50 not so long ago. Could someone explain this to me? Why such a huge boost in the price? The price almost doubled in a matter of days. Why? I'm lucky I got mine while it was still at $50..

Alternator Rodimus still available at Kooltoyz for $59.99, that's 20 bucks better than BBTS. However if stocked, BBTS does have quite a few Alternators/Binaltechs are very good prices:

Camshaft $29.99
Decepticharge $34.99
Grimlock $26.99
Hound $24.99
Meister $25.99/$19.99
Prowl $34.99/$39.99
Shockblast $34.99
Sideswipe $24.99
Wheeljack $29.99

Above prices are better than mostly everywhere else, way better than eBay. Their shipping was very reasonable too, on my recent order with them, it only costed me less than $13 to ship 5 Alternators. However again, "if they are stocked".

Cheers!
