Anyone watch the dvd with subtitles on?
Seems like watching with subtitles allows more things to be revealed, especially when it comes to Frenzy's dialogue. I had no idea he was actually speaking some english among all that gibberish. Funny when he said "Megatron melting" and "oh ****". The more i watch this movie the more stuff i see. Pausing and going frame by frame reveals even more stuff, like optimus disengaging his rifle from his back during the final battle scene. Also, did anyone else think Megatron needlessly used his own name a little too often. I guess I could see him announcing that "I am Megatron" after he came out of years of cryostasis (plus for the non-fans of the TF universe it probably helped them to identify him), but then he said it again when he was in the city. He lept down into the city and just said "Megatron". Kinda weird. he's a bit of a narcissistic autnomous robot i guess...

This is a great time to point out one word that describes the timeless character, be it G1 Megs, Megatron II from Beastwars/Machines.. what have you. Megalomaniac.
There you go.

If anything, it's just mechanical noises during that scene.
If you want the best option for getting all of the dialog (including sound descriptive terms)...use the CCD built into your TV. It caught more than the subtitles did. (or at least appeared to, so don't quote me on that being golden truth.)
Once I saw that it wasn't just all gibberish coming out of the Decepticons, but actual scripted lines...I was far more impressed with the film than I already had been.
Until the captions/subtitles came into play, I had no idea that Megatron actually said he'd kill Sam on the city street. Followed by "Mine! Allspark!" (all of that sounded like gibberish to me before the caps/subs.)
You gotta love a DVD...so many things you miss in a film the first time, especially one as intricately detailed as this one is.

What I found interesting is that, when Megatron arrives, the subtitles say that it's Optimus that says "It's Megatron! Retreat!"
Which is funny, considering that Optimus isn't even there.

O_o...wow. Bad planning there.
I mean you can clearly tell it's Ratchet's voice.
But even the captions don't display that info, just the dialog.

After getting the dvd, I noticed there was a 99+ Pontiac Grand Am SE in the car chase scene with Bumblebee and Barricade. Before it was just a red streak of something, but I put it on 1/4 slow and was able to tell it was a GA SE with custom taillights. Made me smile, I drive a 01 GAGT daily.
