Yup, my favourite scene as well. Very well executed, they show the viewers that these are the "good" bots, using only very simple musical queues, softer, slower body movements and the Autobots' general "hesitation" and "shy-ness".
They don't make a huge statement like when the Decepticons arrive. Blackout is the perfect example, the two scenes are polar opposites.

Emotional
The scenes and music makes it so emotional especially when watching it and knowing the outcome of Jazz. I mean it makes them seem like such good guys.
Credit where credit is due people critisize Michael bay a lot, but that scene is really emotional. Some people have commented on youtube about tears in their eyes at that scene.
I loved the kick ass action, but nver though robots could strike such an emotional cord.

I like how the Decepticons arrived - gave a massive rush of adrenaline.
Look at Prime when he landed - he legged it! If he could blush he would have been blushing!

Yeah the Autobot intro and music with it was great, I like how they just randomly landed on earth, Like ironhide landing in a swimming pool of a mansion.
The decepticon's 'comming out of hiding' was good too. They were blending in society already and were finally called into action.
And prime's slow transformation was a good touch

I've watched that scene about 50 times over now, can't get enough of it.
While some people will come on here and say this movie won't be remembered, well, I tell you what, for as long as I"m interested in Transformers, this scene will never leave my mind, same as when Rodiums ran up in 86 and said gave the order to transform and roll out for the first time.

It's easily one of the best pieces of film music I've heard this decade and it did its job so well. That sequence is my favorite of the the whole movie and it's made absolutly amazing by the score.
It says a lot about the Autobots, that they're doing the best the can to not be noticed and not take out any people in the process of their fireworks show.

Just realised
Just realised that before they scanned a vehicle they all seem to act as if they were naked, and trying to avoid being seen. but once they get their clothes (so to speak) they are more comfortable in public.
Wanna watch the scene again after speaking bout it LOL

I've seen that scene so many times now and it still mesmerizes me. The music, the autobots, the transformations, it's all so perfect.
