I do a lot of driving for work so I pop in and out of any Walmart I pass, and all of them have been completely devoid of PotP for weeks now, giving me hope that Wave 2 was coming. Well, it seems this week they all started restocking . . . . wave 1 again. Seriously, what in the ever-loving f**k.

I'd be happy with Wave 1 coming back, I still need Grimlock, Optimus, and Rodimus. I've only seen them a few times, even with Optimus being in two waves. Hopefully I'll be able to find a Grimlock by the end of the weekend.

Re: Brag or cry about your retail Transformers section
I’ve recently noticed that Walmart seems to be stocking only one class of new POTP toys. In essence, one location has only the deluxe class. Another has only the voyager class. And another will have the leaders. But in no location I’ve been to is there more than one class size. Found that peculiar. And to clarify, aside from these and a small handful of movie shelf warmers and RID, that’s all they have. Literally one section that takes up four pegs and maybe two feet of the top shelf (below the pegs). Pretty barren.

Still no luck finding Grimlock between two Walmarts and a Target. Plenty of wave 2 Voyagers, I've seen probably 2 to 3 times more of those than wave 1. Still no wave 2 Prime Masters either.
Walgreens still hasn't gotten Shockwave/Sideswipe yet.The shelf is still packed with Jetfire, Prime, and Bumblebee so I doubt they'll get them. Maybe I should buy Jetfire and that'll get them to restock.

Man its the opposite in Canada, Grimlock has definitely reached saturation and can still be found (thought selling well, Starscream is not). The wave voyagers are taking their sweet time but they can be found sparsely and thats fine since it makes sense that we would get a lot of wave 1, then a btit of wave two, and hopefully a lot of wave 2, followed by a bt of wave 3 and so on.
Speaking of Walmart, I dont know if tis the same with others but TFS are next to Star Wars and comic book characters (DC/marvel) and I swear, this random ass vulture toy NEVER HAS HIS HEAD.

Has anyone else seen that in their walmarts?

Now all the new Bayformers are rolling out. They look great next to the dust covered versions that came out last year that no one wanted. Still no wave 2 PotP's because . . . reasons.

People have been reporting barren shalves across the country with no TF toys, including no TLK toys. So now people have new toys to stock.

Heh, went to Target tonight and they actually had quite a few TLK figures. Mostly it was Deluxe Berserker and Slash, Voyager Hound, One Step Dragonstorm, and a bunch of the smaller figures. All full priced of course. They also had a lone SS Starscream and Grimlock, a PotP Rippersnapper and Hun-Gurrr, and a pile of RID stuff.
I guess it's just Walmart that cleared out the TLK stuff.

Here you go, my local Walmarts.
Waterville last Wednesday (if I mention a WM near work it's this one). The bottom shelf is empty, it's where the Leaders would go. Only movie toys are the two SS Crowbars.
Augusta Saturday, right in the capital. Looks almost identical to Waterville. Bottom shelf has a case of SS Deluxe figures on it, no Leaders. They also had those big Rescue Bots Optimus Prime track sets on clearance for $15. Thought about buying one, but I really don't need another massive Optimus on the my shelf. But man that was hard to resist.

Re: Brag or cry about your retail Transformers section
I was in Pittsburgh over the weekend. Was super busy but did make it out to East Liberty Target. It was refreshing to actually see TFs in the toy section, something I don't really get to see in NYC at all. They had a bunch of the SS deluxes and some random POTP and RiD figures. Nothing great, but still, MUCH better than NYC.

Dude, you weren't too far away from me! You may have even passed my car during my adventures over the weekend!
And it's good to hear the SS deluxes are in the area, means I'll need to pay more attention next month for them

It was my first time back in Pittsburgh in 10 years. I really liked Pittsburgh, and I tell everyone if it was closer to NYC, I may have looked for a job out there.
As you may know, where that Target is, that area was a dump 10 years ago. But I guess everything changed once they opened that Trader Joe's the last year I was there.
Well lucky me... having not been in Pittsburgh in 10 years, I get to go back again in 2 weeks for a wedding. I hope that Target gets some newer stuff. I have another packed weekend, but also hoping to hit up Walmart or Ollies, which I didn't get to this past weekend.

Re: Brag or cry about your retail Transformers section
Funny how things work. A couple of weeks ago I was scrambling to find a SS Thundercracker. There were sporadic sightings in the NYC area. I managed to track one down after a sighting at a TRU not terribly close to home. There were 2, and both boxes were damaged. And at 10% off, it was basically paying full retail price for a regular SS voyager.
Well, this weekend it appears my local TRU got a crateful of them. I didn't count, but there must've been around 20-30. And at 20% off to boot.

OK, been on vacation in the Netherlands for a week and a half, and I comfortably say this about the stores: they've been doing better than I though they would.
For starters, there's now one single dedicated toy store chain, Intertoys as Bart Smit stores have been taken over by them (which on occasion results in two identical stores being practically across from eachother). Their offerings are, though behind compared to us, at times better. Overall:
The Last Knight
Legion Wave 2 and 3 (Megatron, Crosshairs, Drift, Hound and Dragonstorm)
Deluxe Wave 2
Voyager Wave 2
Leader Wave 1
One Step Wave 2
Allspark Tech Starter Packs
Titans Return
Titan Masters Wave 2 Revision (tons of Clobbers), Wave 4 Shuffler
Legends Wave 3 (Sharkticons and Bumblebees)
Deluxe Wave 3 (Triggerhappy, Hot Rod, Twinferno)
Robots in Disguise
Legion Wave 12 (with Cyclonus and Heatseeker!)
Warriors Wave 10 (Blurr, masked Windblade, Soundwave, Skywarp)
Crash Combiners Wave 3 (Dragbreak, Lunar Force)
Activator Combiners Wave 1 (Bumblebees... ugh)
... plus some others
Pics upon request

I could get them for you but with shipping, they would come out to almost $15 a piece, which is expensive for a legion figure.
Anyways, here is what my favourite TRU looked like today. I didnt take pics of the TR Leader figures they still had, or the tons of giatn one step dragonstorms, just the cooler stuff:

Prices here aren't that much better, especially with conversions:
Titan Masters: €7
Legions: €10
Legends: €15
Deluxe/Warriors: €23
... and it only gets worse.

Clobber wasn't in the Wave 2 revision, his only release was in the regular Wave 2. He's still the only individual Titan Master I've never found since regular Wave 2 never came to my area and his online prices have never been reasonable. The Revision wave was Brawn, Apeface, Loudmouth, and Nightbeat.
Anyway, looks like the rumors were true, no more Leader class anything at Walmart right now, price tags are gone.
I think the covered tag next to Starscream is for SS Deluxe, or maybe it's the tag below. Either way, they're both $19~. Looks like this Walmart also removed their PotP Voyager stickers, but the other Walmart I frequent still has those as of last Wednesday. I guess that's consistent with people finding PotP Voyagers on clearance, this store just never had any to put on clearance. Meanwhile there's all those RID figures collecting dust, gotta make room for those! So much for stores expanding their toy sections to make up for the loss of TRU, but I never had a local one to begin with so...

If you had stray Crashbashs then it sounds like you had proper wave 1 and 2 leftovers, not revision wave 2 which kicked out Clobber and Skytread. Believe me, the wave 2 revision was the only thing to appear in my area for a few months, I wouldn't have Skytread either if he hadn't been released again in wave 4 (along with a third release of Nightbeat).
