Yes, if you're new to collecting Alternators, Fry's would be great place to pick up Ricochet, Rollbar, Skid & Sunstreaker for $25.00 retail. However, you can consider getting Rollbar at HTS for $20, get it over $25 to use $5 off coupon (code: TFPEPSI expires 6/30/08, I haven't tested it yet).
Cheers!

Cool, are any of those Alternators absolutely worth owning? All I have is Rodimus, but I wouldn't mind beefing up my Alt collection.

Oh yeah Alternators are really worth collecting, great alt/bot forms & fun to transform. However, be prepared to shell out $20-$120 each, I would say average figure goes for $30-$60 plus shipping from eBay, loose ones at about $10 less.
I try to collect at least one figure from each mold initially, afterwards I will patiently wait for better deals on remaining figures.
There's one vendor at Frank & Son Collectible Show (near entrance) with about 10 different Alternators, so checking this place out might help you acquire few more figures that are no longer available in stores.
Good luck with collecting Alternators, I'm sure you'll love them dearly.
Cheers!

Nemesis Prime: List 60 / Haggled to 55
Skid: List 18-25 / Can haggle to 16-20
Sunstreaker: List 25
Meister: List 50
Grimlock: List 80 (way too high)
Several other ones I forgot list prices already, but mostly in 35-60 range I believe.

Oceanside Wal Mart @ Jefferson and 78 had one ultimate Bumblebee and a bunch of alternators came in. Lots of Sunstreakers, Riccochets, Rollbars and Skids--some on the lower shelf, some on the top of the opposite shelf in overstock toward the middle of the aisle.
Wal Mart @ College and Marron had dick all. That place seems to consistently have dick all.

Nice, I was just at the Jefferson Wal-Mart yesterday. I'll have to check it out tomorrow for those Alts.
And yeah, I haven't been to the one in College and Marron in God knows how long because they never have anything. I actually live on the other side of that hill up College, in those new houses to the right.

Oceanside Wal-Mart on Jefferson had the Alternators opengl mentioned, and they also got in a couple Cybertron figures. Also, if you look at the tags closely, a couple of them say "CLSC RAMJET" or "CLSC GRIMLOCK". I don't much care for the Grimlock, but it'd be pretty nifty to nab a Ramjet.
Oceanside Target had a good number of G1 Jazz and G1 Starscream movie repaints on the TF endcap, along with a bunch of new Wave Real Gears and a Tit 6" Optimal Optimus in the aisle.
I think TRU gets its stuff in on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I'll probably check there tomorrow morning.

All the Targets in my area have nothing but G1 Jazz and Starscreams. Target Greatland in Encinitas got in two Titanium Fallens and Cheetors, so if you're looking for those, you know where to go.
Oceanside TRU has jack too, but last time I hit jackpot on Thursday, so I'm making it a point to get there tomorrow.

Hello. For the past couple of months I've been checking this site for figure updates and for that I thank you. I noticed that some of you suggest going to Frank & Sons to purchase the new figures. I recently went and I noticed that almost every single booth that sells TF's had every single new deluxe, voyers etc., in fair amount of quantities. To me it seems that these guys might be the very same guys we refer as scalpers. For some reason I can't find one single bumblebee or any of the new deluxes, but these guys do and sell them for great profit(bumblebee is $10 retail, going for $25(minimum) at Franks). Now, some of you might think this is a deal, but is it really. It's time for us to stop purchasing these figures from them so they can atleast knock the price down. I would understand if these figures where no longer being made, but they've just came out and I have yet to find any new deluxes in any of the stores I go to. It just bugs me that they're charging so much. I'm sure most of you don't care, but just decided to pass the info to see if any of you think the same.
